[H-Tavern- The Blighted Dwarf]

Almost a year has passed, almost a year. Since battle around Hillsbrad has once again taken a vacation, with the screams of pain and death a distant echo, fresh business opportunities dominate the mind of many. Dun Garok, once a fortress of great reknown and a bastion of dwarven strength far in the North. Now, a citadel of darkness claimed by the far reach of the Undercity, has been selected to a serve new purpose. Sponsored by the wealthy D'Archconnoir family the tavern will fill bellies with drink yet again!

Under the supervision of Undertaker Lansire, Dun Garok has been selected to play a rather important role for the Horde, an opportunity to put grievances between the races aside and drink until you drop, dead. The silent halls of Dun Garok will once more be filled with music and the sound of drunken brethren of the Horde.

An old project (http://www.defiasrp.com/t2934-h-tavern-the-blighted-dwarf) picked up by myself, Vangrel with assistance and help from various other people, currently Sabien & Emeriitus. The bar will be welcome to all members of the Horde, as well as those pretending to be part of the Horde. The patrons behind this in character are the D'Archconnoir family. Whisper myself in order to be recruited OOC at first, and then IC.

Security
As it is considered to be Forsaken territory, the Forsaken forces will present security, however anybody wishing to be a bouncer can inform either a member or staff or Vangrel (me) either OOC or IC.

The NPC's:

On the subject of the ghosts that spawn in the area, they are low level (Level 24) and in the tavern areas itself only 1 ghost spawns per bar area, each of these ghosts has a respawn time of 5-6 minutes (as timed by myself as Nazfonya) and in the large room beneath both the bars, where the large fire place is, there are no ghosts that spawn accept for a rare silver elite female dwarf who spawns rather rarely. So the ghosts should be no issue when it comes to role-playing in the general bar area! : ) - Mervyn

The grand opening is yet to be given a time, and date, however I'd like to first gather a suitable and reliable bar staff, be they alts or mains, this will only be a once a week occurrence at first so the commitment to work in the bar not exceptionally great!

Come one come all, the Blighted Dwarf is announcing the opening of it's doors on the 9th of April at eight bells! All races of the Horde are welcome, all nations ought to put their differences aside and drink deeply from the flagons of the finest drinks! Pirates, mercenaries, veterans and even the lonesome tauren, all are welcome!

Food, dancing and drinking is what awaits those who enter the newly refurbished tavern, and those who don't, pfah, let them miss out on all the drunken tales of vomit and hilarity!

The tavern will run on a weekly basis starting on Tuesday, to become a member of the bar staff you can whisper Vangrel or Emeriitus in-game.

The theme of the evening will be a talent show, so at nine bells all performers will be asked to gather in the main hall with the hearth:

Received a response from Nazfonya inquiring about being allowed to use the concept, it's a go-ahead!

Perhaps she may be enticed back to return as well, we'll see!

Not a guild event

Will try to be there on one of my toons. I believe we have a guild meeting at the same time that day in the Imperium, but there's no reason why we can't reschedule... or indeed, hold the meeting at the Blighted Dwarf over a stein of ale or two.

As long as tea is present Coriadess might come by and then leave within the hour.

This is going fabulous! Almost a 30 person turnout (so far) and what I am most glad about is the diversity of people that have come. (Quiet a few from the 'Why don't you RP' thread have shown up as well!)

It's just a huge shame that there are multiple members within the RP community that continue to contribute nothing themselves while actively verbally undermining the work myself and others do.

Oh well, the internet is full of morons and WoW is no exception!

This seems senselessly spiteful.

Unfortunately I am slightly spiteful that there griefing is tolerated among RP circles.

But no worries, I fortunately was able to seize a wide variety of screenshots for further use. (My gallery has grown yet again, from 32 to 65). They will be used as reference for the future.
