[IC Tavern] The Sober Dwarf

On the outskirts of the Great Forge, there lies a Tavern named after a legendary creature that exists only in tales, a myth. How does it look like, nobody knows, but one thing is certain, they call it the Sober Dwarf! And so the tavern wears the same name as this legendary creature, The Sober Dwarf!
From Senator to Commoner, from the Guard to Devotee, many of the Dwarves within the Clan’s union consider The Sober Dwarf as one of the best taverns out there. With the vast food menus and drinks from all around the Azeroth the Sober Dwarf makes a good place to relax, enjoy and get to meet new people within the Clan’s union any beyond! Though bar fights are something common in the Sober Dwarf.


The Sober Dwarf’s good name spread quickly and visitors are now not only just Dwarves and gnomes, but also other races from the kingdoms of the Alliance. The host and owner of the Sober Dwarf, Falrim Blackforge is a proud Dwarf that looks for the tavern with great passion and he put his soul and soberness into the Tavern, thus making many visitors enjoying in his company.



Most Dwarves are always eager to hear the Falrim’s famous yell and they await it with anticipation, the yell goes: “The Sober Dwarf be open, come one, come ALL!”

The Sober Dwarf is a player-run tavern located in near the Flight Master in Ironforge. It serves as gathering place for the Dwarves within the clan’s union as well as refreshing any adventures that are making their way through Ironforge. The Tavern is run by Falrim (in-game name) and it will be open at evenings, after 8.00 Realm Time during the weekdays, weekends will have longer opening time and might have some special events such as plays, tale-telling nights and lots of other ideas!
Anyone interested in having some “shows” in the tavern, should post here or whisper Falrim.

I would also like to note, that I understand a dwarf named Gundrom also opened a tavern in the very same building (yesterday?) so you may want to poke him to avoid any issues.

Supported by the Blackforge clan, it also brings in great revenues.

We've been roleplaying there for many times now and we have never encountered someone else using that tavern, but should any conflicts arise we'll sort them out - No worries. Thanks for letting us know, though!

I would like to have yah ideas regarding pricing da food and ale, like...Mah, references. Stuff like how much gold a guard makes a month or how much a good dinner would have costed, etc.

And also lads, ideas! While I may be as mad as a bag of doorknobs, I be open to any ideas and suggestions (which does not leave me naked, dancing on a table)

Nah, here in Turkey, we lads just move from one department to another fer about 2 weeks to 2 months, dependin' on da department. If, per chance I manage to pass da tomorrow's exam, I will be movin' to...pediatrics.
