[H-Tavern] The Blighted Dwarf

A new Tavern opening up on the 21st at 21:00, Get in touch with Mervyn or Nazfonya in game for a calendar invite, and hopefully it will be opening a fair bit, gradually more and more as the staff builds up, and the more regular the patrons get!

On the subject of the ghosts that spawn in the area, they are low level (Level 24) and in the tavern areas itself only 1 ghost spawns per bar area, each of these ghosts has a respawn time of 5-6 minutes (as timed by myself as Nazfonya) and in the large room beneath both the bars, where the large fire place is, there are no ghosts that spawn accept for a rare silver elite female dwarf who spawns rather rarely. So the ghosts should be no issue when it comes to roleplaying in the general bar area! : )

On the subject of staff, if you are a Horde player and interested in helping run a bar, as a barmaid or man, be it on an Alt or a main, do not hesitate to get in touch with, once again, Mervyn or Nazfonya in joining the bar staff and putting yourself at the heart of what will hopefully become a fine roleplaying establishment for characters to get a good drink!

I think i've gotten about everything down here, comments good or bad welcome below, ideas also, if i have missed anything in be sure to let me know and i'll edit it in! On the same note, any questions at all contact myself or Nazfonya in game or simple reply under this thread!

Now actively recruiting additional bartenders!
The event has steadily been growing and if this keeps up, we aren’t going to cope on orders. As such, we could now do with a few extra hands behind the bar to help us out.

What we are looking for in a bartender:
- Must speak and understand Orcish. Preferably without too much of an accent.
- Must be polite and professional. It is key to remember we are an alehouse, and hence only cater in the supply of food and drink. Aside from being able to rent a bed, we offer no additional services.
- Mustn’t be afraid of corpse, ghost or forsaken. The first two are part of our decoration, the latter are our main customers.

Contact Nazfonya through mail, whisper or pm on these forums if you are interested in the job.

Ps, We are currently also looking for a cook. Contact Nazfonya should you be interested.

To be serious again, I'm definitively taking part in this event. I'm not sure, if I'll be all cool and shizzly with Thenkar or have an alt join the list of employees (Kinahmi or a completely new face!). We'll see...

I mean, for those who weren't there thursday, I'm running the inn. Aiming to make it a regular event. On every thursday, at 21:00. Right after the Sermon of the Cult. (shameless advertisement)

So yeah, ecpext to see more of this.

21:00 is good for me! I always miss the Dalaran one cause I'm out at dog training classes. One day, I'll actually catch that sermon too! My Death Knight would love it. :> Death to the Living, and all that!

Last time it was really packed in the inn.
To make certain you aren't waiting ages for your drink, we now have additional personal!
Should it be crowdy again we can open up the second bar and people can split up or travel about.

Glad you enjoyed it. I can't always guarantee that there will be a warlock to summon the lower levels, but if there is a option we try to get everyone there.

A bit of a mess isn't a problem. Just don't make it a regular thing.
Also, I might put bourbon on the menu. Seems rather popular.

Me and my staff are rather peaceful, so you won't see hostility out of us unless you are hostile to us.
However, our customers might not be so peaceful. This is by no means a cross faction inn, and that the place is decorated with dead dwarfs... might not bode to well for your own future.



On a sidenote, by next week we are probably going to charge for the consumption of water. It has become far to popular to keep giving away for free.

Just to let you know I've updated our guild calender with your event so you might have some Tauren turn up, though this week it does clash with the Barrens PvP :-)

Looking forward to seeing some tauren there. We haven't seen many so far. Would give a bit of diversity, maybe the cult pipes down a bit then aswell. ;p

And yeah, that campaign might give me a rather quiet evening. But can't expect to be the only one to have a event on thursdays.
