I had visitors again.
This time the captain and his men.
They said that: ‘You, shall now go to prison.
For your crimes against the land,
And against a noble man.’
I fought back, but then I came to prison.

It’s all for the king and the country.
But they did not get any gold, I did not do what I was told.
So I guess that I in fact is now a traitor.

I did not say what I thought
So I got placed beneath a fort.
But I said: ‘Wait, I demand a trial.
I request to see the king.
I have not done anything’.
My wish was granted, so I went to Stormwind.

Because it’s all for the king, the jolly jolly king.
It’s all for the king and the country.
But they did not get any gold, I did not do what I was told.
So I guess that I in fact is now a traitor.

The king he looked on my and said:
You should lose your bloody head’
But I said: ‘Stop, let me sing a story’.
So I looked on the king
And then I began to sing,
And now I am a little shorter.

I sung

Though I'm thinking perhaps this is more suited for the Story section of the forum? There you can collect any future songs aswell, without clogging up the In Character section.

Somehow I hear the "Hail to the Chief" tune in this song.

I prefer singing this as one would sing a sea shanty.

i didn't even read the first line where you say the tune, but when i got to its all for me jolly jolly, the damned tune got stuck in my head :'(
