Inquiry about a certain location...is it available?
There's a building in the east part of Cathedral Square, facing the canal, with the JC trainer right across the way and an NPC called Ol'Emma is in the building.
Is anyone using it? The Chapter is currently looking for a new HQ and although we've gotten a very generous offer to share the Command Center's armory with the Regiment, we'd still like to have a properly furnished location.
So if anyone knows of someone having a claim on this building, could you please mention it here?

That was previously the Draenei embassy (years ago), as well as a shop more recently.
To my knowledge it hasn't been used in awhile. Ol Emma spams a LOT though, so you need to go into your chat settings and turn off NPC Say if you want to not be spammed.

This can be done! If no one else makes any claim, I'll check with our GL and hopefully make it official.

The Forsaken claim it. Alongside the rest of the Kingdom of Stormwind.
Also: A side idea, would it be a neat idea to draw up a map of Stormwind and put in color with name as to who operates where? The Three Hammers do it on their forum for clan halls and it works well. Some sort of perquisite of it being for a guild or perhaps even binding it into an IC formality conducted by, the Minister for.. Housing Affairs?
The idea is out there anyway.

Please please no more council-ruled things.
For the rest, sure why not.

Re: Inquiry about a certain location...is it available?
Far as i've seen. A few RP-ers (More or less diffrent random peopl) use it from time to time (To rp a home or so, most of the time), but nothing constant. Least not anything i would know.
I'm not sure how anyone who is also not on these forums, but sometimes rp's there would say to this, but just giving a heads up.
I think council is affecting us enough, but as Allo said, rest is a good idea.

Why are you of all people, saying that the council should have "actual" power to say where people can and cannot RP?
Is this a troll or something else?

Just start role-playing there. If noone's in, it's yours!
If there's already people in it doing their thing, use something else!

I assume that they, like everyone else, want to have a more firm presence in the great city of Stormwind.

If you have not noticed, the Chapter have slightly refined their concept where from a monastic order the guild now revolves around the Arch-Lector who is situated in Stormwind. To play a more political/religious role.
Though, that sort of defeats the entire concept somewhat in a sense, but I am sure they know what they are doing. Also Amaryl, you see right through me you devious snake you.

I kind of suspected it would be sarcasm, but still felt a strong urge to share my thoughts on the matter

Yes the Chapter has started a new...well...chapter this new year, we want to be stationed in Stormwind and so on be more active around the city.
Being stationed at the abbey made us sometimes "stuck" there RP wise, even our cannons weren't allowed to leave the place untill they had been tested for their fate.
As the cultism concept has died down alot we are just moving along with the world...of warcraft RP.
We still have our Inquisition who do the buisness that...*cough cough* doesn't happen officialy, and our beloved Shadowbreakers who will be patrolling the streets as usual, maybe try to be a bit more friendly now that we are in the city more regularly, we aren't enemies we are just trying to do the Lights work! And with great patient (as some of you might have witnessed in the cathedral the other night with a conversation between the Inquisitor and a draenei) The Chapter will become a great ally in future struggles!
Hail Anethion!

Re: Inquiry about a certain location...is it available?
One could spend a week RPing in Northshire without having to leave. Sparring with fellow Chapterians, praying, debating plans, questioning prisoners, receiving visitors. That was the problem, since guild was slowly turning inwards. So we deciding to go to Stormwind and turn outwards, to be more involved with other guilds and players.
Guild concept now revolves around taking over Stormwind. Not in the sense of marching on the keep and sitting on the throne, but in sense of influencing and assimilating everything from guards, to judges to politicians. Why? To build an Anethionean society and whack evil hard.
As for the building, for the time being I prefer not to have a headquarters till some in-guild things are sorted. When that is done, Old Emma's house is as good a place as any to consider.
