Anyone wanting to attempt making a cure or to study the virus is to get in touch with me.
Alright, that I can live with, then my char can survive an infection when the cure is found, thank you

Re: PLAGUE: In Eversong Woods
Personally I see this as a fantastic opportunity aswell. Quite nicely put together and I do agree that there is no need to get stressed about this; it is a clear cut case of participate if you genuinely want to get involved.
I already took a major step in getting my guild involved with this premise, this very day. Akechi Shadowstorm, Commander of the Crimson Imperium is feeling "under the weather" for obvious reasons and given the rank to his second-in-command until he recovers. Threw a spanner in the works but it made for VERY enjoyable RP ^^

Oh dear... this one has been corrupted for a very long time. Some lethal elven magic should change his state of mind though.
To the Silvermoon Council,
The woods are under attack! When I tried to get home yesterday, I was told to "stay away" by the Farstriders. It turns out my home has been covered in plague, and that it's too dangerous for me to go there as I could very well die. I am no expert of the plague, but I can say this is a direct attack of the Scourge or, Belore prevent it being, the Forsaken to the people of Quel'thalas.
I urge the council to reconvene today or on a very short notice in whatever state it deems itself possible. My home, and that of many other people of Quel'thalas, are in danger.
With regards,
Magistrix Aishling Silversun
Demonologist
There! This could be a way of letting the people of Silvermoon know what is happening!

The development of Sylvanas-Loth'remar relationship suggests that they are far from "good" allies. Their dependency on each other for domination of the Eastern Kingdom's has subsided and by the looks of things, Silvermoon has closer ties at this stage to the Kalimdor Horde than to Undercity. (It is also being role-played out like that by the current Sin'Dorei player base) The Forsaken need the Horde to maintain their power, they could never stand alone against the combined might of the Alliance.

Re: PLAGUE: In Eversong Woods
Question: Is it the kind of "disease" that can be cured (Or atleast kept in check) by the Light? Or perhaps it could slow the process?
I'm not meaning to cleanse the area or anything, but if a person should happen to become ill my character would instantly try to cleanse the person and I'm wondering if it would do anything at all.

Depending on how "strong" it is compared to "The Plague" in WoW, holy light would at the least weaken the affliction.
Edit: the first thing I looked at for info on relevant diseases in WoW: http://www.wowpedia.org/Plague

The scourge plague and the forsaken blight are not really related however, forsaken blight does not raise you into undeath for example and seems more of an acid than a disease. I cant comment on the RP here but the plague could be anything from something from RL, black death for example or something player made which is what I expect is the case.
Check with Diederich I would suggest.

I'll check myself if it becomes relevant.

I know enough about the other plagues in WoW, just asked about this specific one as it's very likely to be different due to being player made.
Well this is his thread, no?Check with Diederich I would suggest.
