Current status of Stromgarde

Hail.

As this will be a point of contest and war in the up and coming months I'd first of all and initially like to take it's current status.

From my side I have engaged in no taking over tactics etc and as such I see it as currently the same way it is portrayed in-game.

Ogres, Syndicate and a small Arathorian presence.

Correeect?

I think the city is indeed the ruins we see today.
But over the years those ogres and syndicates have been purged enough times to be considered gone.

However, the arathorian presence is minor, quite so indeed. (But I'm sure an officer of the guild would be a safer card to ask.)

Since most of us Arathorians moved back to SW a few months back the presence is indeed minor. But there are albeit a few Arathorians there.

Check with Aetherel or Dellore. They've been the most active officers lately. (Atleast when I've been on.)

We returned recently to assess the situation and cleared out some forsaken. However, we're planning a full re-taking campaign around the 8th if January.

So, current status would be that the syndicate/ogre presence no longer exists. It's minor presence on the part of both the forsaken and the arathorians.

Cleared out what Forsaken exactly?

We played it our as mere NPC scout/infantry Forsaken. Basically the few remaining to maintain a watch over the keep after KoS left for Stormwind.

Obviously we had to create a reason for us departing, which was overwhelming opposition IC'ly. Despite the reason being Aboc's constant ganking (though I wasn't a member then, so, I'm not absolutely certain).

So yeah, the re-taking campaign begins around the 8th. At least that's the information I've been handed last I spoke with the other officers.

Oh right. Fair enough! Kind of confusing when our side knows nothing about occupying Stromgarde and it's.. occupied. Yeah!

Well, we had to go with what we had available, given the circumstances for having to leave in the first place.

I think it's less about it being occupied, and more about just having it scouted now and again. I'm sure the rest of the officers would be up for discussing how we can include you guys in the campaign and such. It'd be nice to have proper opposition

Probably not seeing as, it sort of conflicts with what we have/what we don't have.

Undercity-Silvermoon are only currently planning to take it as we know nothing about it being taken in the first place. Not IC, not OOC. Seeing as the next Horde gathering is going to sort of eh, revolve around planning to take it I'm not going to pull the plug on what is in motion.

I'll need to talk to the officers organizing this since it doesn't fit with our graphic entirely.

This is correct. We moved because of them.
We could not RP for more than 20 min without interruption. It was horrible.

Well, that's fine. Discuss it with them and see what's what. All I know is we're going back around the 8th and have already begun to organise it with a few different guilds.
