As regards a Phlogiston, Drustai, it's a common material used in real-world alchemy, so I don't really think that's something that even needs to be canonized. I mean, we don't need to have confirmed that there's oxygen in the air of Azeroth, do we?

Did the light burn benedictus to use it? Can the light be used to hurt the innocent? I do not think that being hurt by the light is a good balance of righteousness.

It is probably a fairly accurate measure of what the Light doesn't tolerate, however.
