So I've had this idea for a long time, but I figured with 5.1's shadow on us I'd make an event of it. This is basically a party, in which those who are interested in learning an arcane art ICly can actually meet their teachers who will provide the teaching for it. It's a good way to assemble the KT community which is unfortunately divided on most days, but here we'll all get crunk! I'd like to call on all the people who said they would be roleplaying a teacher of whatever school to attend, and the students who said they would like to co-operate too.
I am also looking for people who would like to RP servants/butlers etc for the evening, so do let me know on here or ingame. (Forums preferred since I'm a forgetful idiot.)

Business aside, this is also just a ball, so every guild is welcome to attend (except Omen of Discord, we're going to totally toilet paper their house after the party) due to my work I'm not going to date the event just yet, so watch this space. But it shall be within the next three weeks at least, plus with the time in between we can wake up who ever was going to be a teacher/student. Because I know a lot of people who were involved initially are hibernating or inactive. Anyway, as I said all alliance noble houses and guilds associated (I use this loosely) would receive this invitation so you're welcome to have an IC reaction below, or if there's any OOC questions feel free, thanks.

I'll attempt to make it, assuming its on a Friday, or late Saturday evening... since I kinda dont get online on saturday evenings till just after 21:00 server time cus of work.

I'm totally intrested in this. If possible I would request that the date is not placed on a weekend, but that's up to you in the end of course

My own character - Arenfel - is somewhat full on students, his primary teaching focus is defensive spellcraft (Abjuration).
Alorah may be available, her character is a specialist in Illusionism.
Awendra (one of our newer community members) is roleplaying a teacher of transmutation, so checking with her in-game or via the forums as Cellistra (apologies if I got the wrong name) may be a good idea!

You can also try out Drustai, but she's more difficult to get in touch with

On the more... "private" side of magical academies Braiden might be intrested in pupils to corr-... ahem, yes. MAAAMR 4-eva. But I'd suggest getting a Kirin'Tor mentor if possible since they in general are more focused on magical plots and whatnot.

Okay folks, lots of people have PM'd me and whispered me about possibly having this on a week day, so how does Thursday the 22nd sound, at 8pm?
Also! Braiden, could I borrow some of your butlers? Nobody's shown a flag about wanting to RP one for this evening, if not I could always just ask my Cartel buddies to NPC if possible.

As i said on the 2nd reply to the thread, i am willing to help on that side.

While Skarain is no butler, is far to high position for her, she feels more comfortable joining a party as a servant than a quest itself. She is terribly awkward in parties and extremely nervous if she ends being the center of attention. No-one is going to give a servant in simple clothes another glance, expect when after a drink or to stare their ass, which fits her just well.

Besides, not all of us can be archmages, and i enjoy roleplaying a lowly position

The senate is Thursdays, not that I'm there very often but still. I personally dont mind the date at all. I'll also check with my boys for servants but I'm not making any promises.

Well what ever works for people, personally I can do Thursday or Friday since the senate is on. And thanks Braiden/Skara.

Either day works for me as well, as long as I know a few days before.
