Can't, am in The Netherlands.

Was gonna meet up with Lorraine, but he bailed. Stayed with Selene for a week though and only saw her once in an extended discussion about Hamtaro.

Travelling to Scheveningen was inconvenient, for I already had plans and insufficient funds to travel the distance.

Moreover, I invited you to come to the pub in Hoofddorp, but instead you moaned about the distance and the time. Then you moaned about not drinking alcohol, and not fitting in. I had asked all my friends, and they were happy to welcome you, and speak English specially for you.

Doesn't this mean that you bailed?

EDIT: I don't think I'll be able to come to England this year.

I might be heading up to Liverpool this Saturday dressed up as a nurse and asking money for charity. was gonna go do that at manchester last saturday but got up late and missed the bus lol

any livapuddlians on db?

I often yearn for the late 70s and early eighties, the angst, the dissillusionment, the discrimination and seeing you fellow man as meat. For those times there is the north.

I don't know where this misconception comes from The North.. but it probably has similar roots my belief that all southerners are pretentious, selfish and rude.

I came to the country of England, with no idea whatsoever about the general stereotypes of the areas and what kinda people folk say live there.
And comming into my third year of uni all i can say is this.
Your chances of getting mugged, threatened to be stabbed, offered drugs, asked if you know a guy who sells drugs, being constantly pestered for cigarettes or coins and other such fun activities, has been quite higher up north... allthough it might just be because Middlesbrough is Englands uncleaned asshole (as explained to me by a native)

i know im late into this thread but.. here goes.. a meet would be awsome and i would love to go.. but due to working in the cooking trade my times are limited out of holiday times for the most part as thus i can only come from any point after valentines day in feb Sad
