I aint gonna suggest Leeds. But it's where I live now, and thus I know "best". And it's areet and that. Though I know lots of places, especially places with pubs. Utterly depends on what people want to do (just drink?!).

Edit: re Manchester. It's great. Really is. And yes, has some fantastic gay bars (Canal Street is the biggest area, could be a little... daunting Shae).

Norway is just some meaningless socialist shithole up north that we let exist solely because it's completely useless.

England is a just some meaningless shithole up west that we let exist because we full on expect the class-system to wreck the country and leave it in a post-apocalyptic state because of the ensueing riots. Also it's completely useless.
