I've heard good and bad things about Argent Dawn, but nevertheless I've rolled a few Alliance characters there, it's been enjoyable and felt like a lot less pressure? I dunno, probably because I don't know anyone on Argent Dawn.

AD has a lot of people. The good, the bad, and the ugly.

it just feels good to see a server so filled with life, even if sometimes it is not the best RP. But while questing the the Alliance, it has happened to bump across roleplay scenes everywhere, to the extent of feeling I was always crashing into something xD

I don't think that the community of AD is the issue with the server, I think it is the lack of stability for me. I like the fact we have guards, a council etc. I feel that AD is a lot more playful and DB has a fair amount of realistic and gritty tendancies which I'm attracted to!

Though, I do wish I had characters on both for the times when Defias is quiet.

My Main is on AD now, loving the Theramore RP ATM!

Comparison of Argent Dawn to Defias Brotherhood:

AD

Pros:
- A lot more RPers, a lot more RP guilds, a lot more Freelance RP

Depending on your Opinion of Pro/Con:
- Far more sexually liberated and far more open to "kinks".
(ERP enjoys more than its far share of Taboo)

Cons:
- People dislike AD because people ERP on it and they will hate you for that fact.
- Auction House (unless you are selling!)


In short:
Argent Dawn enjoys a far larger RP population, so by contrast, it also has a far larger ERP population. This means it is more likely to run into some one who might try to guide you into a sexual situation. As long as you stay outside a ERP hotspot like Goldshire, then you would have zero difficulties.
