[K] The Order of Natures Grasp

“Welcome, young friend”, Keeper Greenfury says as he advances towards the young Kaldorei approaching the Guard House of Darnassus. He eyes her up and down and smirks as if satisfied with what he sees. The young Kaldorei in return let her eyes follow the compelling Druid as he circles around her.
“You wish to join our Order, dear?” the Keeper asks with a raised eyebrow when he stops in front of her. He stands in front of four other Kaldorei, barely seen in the gloom of the shadows of the roof.
The young woman straightens her back, takes a deep breath and clearly states: “Yes, Keeper. I believe I would be a worthy addition to your ranks.” This is what she has wanted for a long time.
The Keeper then continues to questions her about her past, her family, her affiliations and her virtues; always with that annoying smirk on his face; always with the “dear” and the appraisal in those golden eyes.
Seemingly contented with her explanations, the Keeper turns the topic onto her goals.
“You know the structure of our Order? The four wings?” he asks.
The young woman nods. This was explained on several occasions and she would be a poor student for not being able to explain it herself.
“The Order consists of four wings: The Guardians of the Moon, the Blackmoon Sentinels, the Wildhearts of Cenarius and the Wardens of Enlightenment.”
Following a nod from the Keeper, she continues: “The Guardians of the Moon are a group of individuals who share the goal with the Order of Natures Grasp in guarding the realm of the Kaldorei as well as the sanctuaries of the Goddess, Elune. The Guardians welcome anyone who holds the teachings of Elune highly and uses them in ways of healing, offensive battle or by simply living in her honour. For this reason, the Sisterhood of Elune is represented within this wing so anyone deemed a Priestess may find their place amongst the ranks of the Guardians as well as anyone else who holds Elune highly whatever their walk of life as one does not need to have had schooling in the Temple to dedicate his or her life to Elune. Faith is the keystone and the Guardians a lead by High Guardian Nelthana Nightsheen.” At the mention of her name, a white-clad woman steps forward. The warm smile and the serene and calm posture of the High Guardian soothe the young woman’s senses and she continues confidently.
“If you are a soldier, and your only wish in life is to hack the enemy to shreds because your Commander told you to, the Sentinels are for you. Uniformed outfits, battle training, the whole lot. They are part of the Order of Natures Grasp, but they also are an official Sentinel Regiment of the Kaldorei society. The members are divided into Squads. Sentinels mean women only, but male soldiers or females who do not see themselves as sentinels have their own squad and they remain under the command of whoever leads the Blackmoon Sentinels. Arms is the keystone and the Blackmoon Sentinels are currently lead by Commander Lomenár Nightsinger.” A faint rustle of chain mail is heard as an impressive woman steps out of the shadows. Her stern and calculating eyes wander the young woman, giving no indication of any emotions. The young woman’s eyes cannot help but seek out the two menacing cutlasses hanging from the Commander’s belt before she continues.
“The Wildhearts of Cenarius follow the teachings of Cenarius and represent the Cenarion Circle within Natures Grasp. No matter what branch of Druid you represent, you will feel at home with the Wildhearts as long as you think the Balance is important. But not only Druids can have a wild heart. All Kaldorei share an affinity for nature, from Hunters who fight alongside beasts, to scholars who study its many wonders. Nature is the keystone and the Wildhearts of Cenarius are led by Grand Shan’do Arkil Stormfeather.” The handsome man stepping forward followed by the thumps of his staff moves with subtle grace and wears a warm smile. The Grand Shan’do’s golden eyes sparkle lightly as her eyes meet his and his smile turn slightly more into a smile similar to the Keeper’s as he tilts his head a little. Feeling exposed under the gaze of the two striking men, she continues somewhat flustered.
“Following the Cataclysm a select group of Highborne were accepted back into Kaldorei society and after a successful trial introduction under the command of the Guardians, the Wardens of Enlightenment were invited to establish an individual wing. The Wardens are masters of the Arcane and hold an unparalleled esteem for the mastery of magic and the attainment of knowledge and therefore Kaldorei or Highborne Arcanists will be welcomed into this wing as well as anyone with a thirst for knowledge. Power is the keystone and the Wardens of Enlightenment are led by Archon Evesia Moonflame.” The lithe body and delicate robes of the woman stepping from the shadows, does not seems to justify the power emanating from her. The Archon wears that Quel’dorei pride and her smile is friendly at best – and most definitely judging.
The young woman takes another deep breath. One cannot help feel humble in the presence of such intimidating characters.
“Very well done, dear.” the Keeper says, “... and have you chosen what wing you would like to apply for?”
“I have, Keeper”, the woman declares and as she pledges her allegiance to the Order of Natures Grasp, her heart soars. She finally has a purpose; a sense of belonging; a home.

Natures Grasp is headed for its 7th birthday and is one of the oldest and most renowned guilds on Defias Brotherhood. We are a Kaldorei only guild and usually found around Darnassus and in Kalimdor, although we are known to help our allies in the east too. We are actively seeking new members to join the Order and help us defeat the threats to our lands, ensure the safety of the realm in general and keep Kaldorei role-playing alive and strong!
We are an RP guild first and foremost and we have no level requirements. We only require that you are playing a Kaldorei and we are always looking for and welcoming high quality role-players to match those already in the Order (perhaps a good reason to roll a Kaldorei?). New to role-play or seasoned veteran – all are welcome.
Since server start the Order has transformed several times under various leaders. With the addition of the Kaldorei Arcanists we are now utilizing a four-wing Order that should satisfy the needs of all sorts of characters and personalities. The Mages have fought hard to earn the trust of the Order and even though they have only slightly reduced the IC tension regarding Mages in the guild, they are respected and considered a force to reckon with. Perhaps you can be the next one to help improve the relations?
Note: We do not allow Death Knights. While we are more liberal than some we are still heavily into the Kaldorei culture which abhors DKs.
