Hey, I run a game dedicated website.
We have some vbulletin forums, well it's kinda small at the moment, I wanted to know if you wanted to drop these free forums and move to my Vbulletin forums?
What i have in mind is that i'll make a private section dedicated to you guys, You and whomever else can personally moderate your part of the forums, and i'll even you special access to the forum to accept who-ever you want to gain access to the private forums.
You don't have to pay me "Rent" It's free. All i ask is that you members constantly go on the forums.

There's some bug with private messages in the current forum software so that they sometimes get sent out to every member. Most likely the person was just offering Saihna (or whoever is currently managing hosting of this forum) an alternative
