RP guild looking for members and ideas.

Me and Melvat´h are looking to start a RP guild and we are looking for members and ideas our ideas so far is: We will try to start a

 place where one can study arcane or fel magic, i know this only appeals to mages and warlocks But we are trying to find Space for'

 other classes too. If you have any ideas or suggestions write here, or send me or Melvath an in-game whisper smae goes if you want

 to join.

I suggest you look up the "[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]" instead. What they're doing sounds pretty much right up your alley.

You'll find yourself competing with both [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] of the Alliance (and Horde), and [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] in terms of members, if your concept remain:

My advice? See existing guilds before creating your own. If you still want to make your own guild, go ahead, but you'll find better members by creating a concept that is not already in use elsewhere.

In any case, i wish you luck, whatever decision you'll make.

I just spoke what i believe to be true. Given an example: Why is Wild Tempest drawing so much people, outside the fact that the concept suits for any kind of character?

There 'were' no guilds or concepts alike it on the Alliance at the time it was created.

There's no need trying to reinvent the wheel, especially when you ask others to make it for you.

1. Come up with a rough concept for the guild (what is the guild about).
2. Check existing guilds for overlap of ideas and concept.
3: If there's no serious overlap, poke around and ask if anyone is interested enough in joining the guild.
4: Finalize guild concept (what does the guild do from day to day) and found it.

Your idea of a Mage's Guild (basically) is very narrow, that is, it'll mainly consist of 2 classes (mage & warlock) and on the horde side 2 races (belf & undead, perhaps goblin). That'll mean that it's going to be very similar to established guilds and the number of active potential members is low.

That doesn't mean they can't exist!

There are always room for more guilds of the same likes. Competition does well for both sides. The guild that is the most well managed and enthusiastic about the RP and the organisation of it will emerge the greater guild, eventually.
