Defias Minecrafters United!

It isnt the graphics that lags, it is a simple game but there is so much data to process.

It lags because it's coded god-damn terribly. It's extremely demanding for what it is.

The launcher puts an icon on the desktop in which you need to choose Tekkit on the drop down to the left, add your creds and log in.

And now log out.

This goes in the tekkit folder, mods section of .techniclauncher.

Click the icon on the desktop to relaunch tekkit.
On the Minecraft screen open texture packs.

Do this.

Add the texture pack to the white screen that has opened. Once added you can close this screen and you will have two texture packs listed, default and Sphax, choose the new one and save/agree etc.

Now go to the multiplayer and add server, give it a name.

Save and log in. When you first log in you will have to be given permission by a moderator/admin. You will spawn on an island, ask to be taken to Gels farm aka the visitors center. Here you need to find the bedroom downstairs and click the bed to set your spawn.

Servers down yet again

BTW Server Admin/Owner, when the server went down last time I lost a bunch of my items! Like the mass fabricator I had just created and was about to put down, and all my lapis. I had no advanced items left and had lost my entry level mats to create more advanced parts etc,

Any idea what is going on?

Its not the first time something odd happened to my char inventory, the last time I gained a bunch of stuff, such as stacks of yellow and red flowers, a bee scoop (I didnt have one!) and an iron sword, iron axe.
I lost all my iron armour tho.

Just some problem on the hosting company's end I guess, restarted it again anyway.

And Mott, there was a reason I put lockette on the server. It wasn't so you could get around it using pipe exploits and steal people's stuff, please don't do it again

Yes I agree with Glilya, we had to get restarted over and over and over.
I was wondering if there is a conflict, perhaps someone is trying to use something that has been disabled? Or maybe found a way round something that is disabled?
The reason I ask, I tried to make some dust to create an alchemical chest and it crashed my launcher, when I went back on I was told its disabled.
Could there be crash or exception warning logs?
Its the same with one of the crafting tables, the mark III is fine but the Mark3 crashes me off the launcher.

From a error we had before it may be a certain addon causing the problem. Have any new ones been added to the server? If so best to disable one or two just to see if they are the cause or if the service that hosts us is having problem if thats the cause I will e-mail them for information.

Alright, I've been reading around a bit on things that can cause server lag. How many quarries/world anchors are there? I know one person said they had like 16 quarries, and apparently too many of them can be bad for the server.

That would be me, however I haven't used any of them in in a very long time. I know Mottkindler is apparently addicted to quarries, that could be it? As for world anchors I think a couple of people use them near farms and such.

Ban them and ban op! In the true minecraft paradise everything is done in survival.
