Judging from google It seems like a server issue :s maybe cause they just put out a update for tekkit?

Yes, and it is flumi paying for the server atm, not me. All servers are down though not just them!

Wanna pm your mc name to flummikins and then get tekkit and the forestry one that are in the thread in a couople of places. Then join the server via the ip address.... And you need to marry Flumi

Just get the Technic Launcher and select the Tekkit mod when you open it, then log in as you usually would and put in the servers I.P on Multiplayer. It's quite simple ^_^

And yeah pretty sure you're gonna have to marry Flumi.

I just cant find Tekkit, Technic, or anything close to it on Curse.

On a side note, I am having some lag issues after patch 1.2.4, it lags when I place blocks, freezing the game and suddenly placing 2 or 3 blocks, and sometimes it lags ever 2 second like that, freezing the game for 1 second, continuing the other. Restarting the game helps temporarily, and restarting it enough sometimes fixes it for hour at end. Tried reinstalling and turning off texture packs and such, got the right java version too. Anyone know of a fix?

I get exactly that Baldy and the only fix I can find is reloading it. You could try boosting the ram in the tekkit launcher options.
