But yes guys, how would you all feel (once you've grasped the game) about a wee multiplayer? Hell you could ever rp through this shite!

Most evil thing ever? Marry my Queen of Africa (d'Hautville dynasty,after conquering Tripoli, Tunis and Cyraenica) to the 2nd son of the Byzantine emperor. Then I assassinate the first son. Obviously, the child born is of Doukas family (Byzantine). So I change succession laws so she won't inherit Africa. And I marry her to my son from another marriage (who now became heir). I wait for the husband to become Emperor of Byzantium and conspire with other nobles to assassinate him, which I did. So the young empress is married to my heir, and their heir inherits all my vast estates (Africa, Mauritania, Sicily and Egypt) as well as the Byzantine throne.

Other Byzantine vassals get a whiff of it and prompty conspire to overthrow the Empress for another Doukas. All of them. So it was this petty empress with nothing of a demesne against the Entire Empire.....and me as support. After 20 years of civil war the Empire was pacified and soon after I got to play as d'Hautville ruler of the Byzantine Empire! \o/

That got to be the most devious scheme

The most 'good' thing I did was to give all my 8 sons a county to govern. When the king died, all 8 began a civil war for the throne of Navarra. That is what being charitable and just gives you!

Right now: playing as Brandenburg, got elected HR Emperor. Managed to convince Electors to make my son Emperor after me. And son after that too. So now if the monarch lasts, I will be able to get High Crown Authority and change succession to Primogeniture from Elective, thus securing my danasty as The Holy Roman Emperors! (ruling Poland, Germany, Lithuania, Lombardy and Africa)

I am up for multiplayer, could be fun to do

My story so far after the above. Had been on good terms with my brother magnus, naming him as heir for most of my life, but when i had my first daughter i named her my heir.

My char died at 39, and my eldest daughter took over. The brother magnus IMMEDIATLY declared war on me and I ended up in 20k debt(no idea how to make money) and losing the war, all my vassels, most of my titles and land and being excommunicated. HELP. Oh and she's also 30 and possessed now so no one wants to ride her

People fucked me up, the only thing i actually did wrong was not knowing how to make money and amounting a massive debt on top of it all :L

Money is hard.

The idea is to get taxes from Cities&Castles (you only get them from Cities at start)

To get money from baronies, you need to pass 'Low/Medium/High Feudal Tax' law. Cities always pay taxes, but you can tax them higher. Churches only pay if the bishops like you more than the Pope. So get money, raise taxes, keep bishops friendly and build improvements in your own castles to make em more profitable. Supplement this by appointing elderly, childless courtiers as counts&dukes, when they die their lands AND their money go to you. Then ransom prisoners. by 1150 you will be earning ~10 per month from a 5/5 demesne.

Just tell me what county you actually live in and it's de jure Kingdom!.

We call all agree to play with the CKII+ mod, which allows you to play as Muslims and does some pretty neat balance-changes too?

If we play the mod, then I play as Duchy of Polotsk: De Jure Kingdom (half of it is in Lithuania, half in Rus)

Well.. The muslims have to be nerfed in order for a player to play them. They're strong. Like, really fucking strong. And they're also very high tech compared to the rest of EU.

They were downgraded as far as I know because people were using mods to play them.

I've made a lot of text based changed to my game but it shouldn't stop multiplayer being fine, for example Swedish dukes are 'jarls' and Irish earls are 'irla'. And I also changed Queens to Queen Regnant, makes it sound grander!

Once I get it, which I think I will. And perhaps tried it on a bit alone, I suppose I'm willing to try multiplay.

I can safely say I'll start as either Denmark or Sweden. Preferably Denmark since Skåne (English: Scania) is held by Denmark.

In my current game as King of Sicily I had no weak enemies so I invaded Ireland.. After unifying it I wanted scotland. The Current Queen of Scotland is 82, her heir is 78 and the heir after that is 16. I married the 16 year old taking a massive prestiege hit for 'marrying a courtier'. Fools. Our spawn will be King of Scotland! MWAHAHAHAHAHA!
