so there was this condescending, selfentitled dickhead in my year who had only one friend, me. I was the only one who ever hung out with him at school or talked to him because nobody could be bothered with his pretentious bs. he was supposedly this star pupil and sure to get into harvard and all those ivy league schools ... turns out 11/13 of the uni's he applied to rejected him. everyone basically made fun of him and I was the only one who actually consoled him

then he deletes me off fb after finding out I got in, then later blocks me and goes up to my friends telling them what a massive condescending dick I am ... wtf??? apparently I did something awful to him but he wont say. Im so freaking bummed out about this now like wtf did I do ya3ni for him to go all mental ugh

If I may be so blunt.. I have known a couple of people Like that in my life.. He sounds like one of those that want to be the centre of attention.. weather good or bad.. you got in at uni so drew attention away from him.. to add to that.. you got into uni where he failed.. that will have hurt him deeply especially as you said yourself

its likely he secretly thinks of himself as the dog's bollocks at everything.. so seeing someone else get in where he didn't.. well.. you did nothing wrong.. he is simply angry insulted and hurt all in one..

he will ether
1 slowly cool down and eventual get talking (this will likely require copious amounts of grovelling/apologies from your end/rejecting your own placement)
2 you have finally found out why people did not like him and its likely he will never talk to you again due to his personality

there probably are other options that I have not foreseen as my experience with people like him always ended up in me getting burnt so I never tried any other avenues to repare relationships

ether way.. Im sure he will come round eventualy.. ether way.. I feel for you

He's an idiot. He stabbed you in the back, I suggest taking one of these two courses of actions:

1) Acknowledge he is an idiot. Ignore him. Remember that your friends know who you are too and that they're not likely to believe him. Then forget about him.

2) Acknowledge he is an idiot. Acknowledge that you were nice to him and he stabbed you in the back for no reason whatsoever. Do not forget. Do not forgive. Promise yourself that you'll ~~take revenge~~ see that justice is served at an opportune moment.

The choice is yours.

(I picked option 2 when something somewhat similar happened to me)

Got something stuck in my throat. Feel like shit because of it, have thrown up a couple of times because of it. Panicked entirely when I realized what was going on as the last time it happened I ended up going to the hospital.

And even after the throwing up I can still feel where it is. FML.

it could be whatever you swallowed has gone but has scratched or bruised the esophagus. That happened to me once thought i had something stuck for days but was just where the thing Id swallowed had damaged the membrane.

Yeah, I know. I've been there before, but I felt it moving which tends to indicate it's still there (in my experience). Still, your point stands and is valid. Last time this happened to me I also had damaged membrane, that's my own theory anyway.

I really need to vent on this..

I -love- the Avengers, and the movie they made.
But second time I watched it, first time was at the cinema months ago. I noticed how they fucked Iron Man over.. He's all about his repulse technique things, where he blasts high pressure of air or w/e.. Well in the Avengers (understandably due to different director) they changed the visuals into something that seemed like a rifle blast, even when he was flying, rocket flames shooting after him.

It highly annoys me since he doesn't use that kind of stuff in his suit, save for the mini missiles in his shoulders and legs.

Ontop of that I also noticed how they kept radio-contact without any kind of communication devices.. Which was like "roflmao".
