[Public RP-PvP Event] A World of War

Because of unforeseen circumstances, the original plan of Eloresh gathering the Alliance isn't going to go ahead for an unknown amount of time, so I'd like all those interested to get in touch with me in-game, by contacting me either on Khendran or Galedric.

Less than a week for the campaign to kick off, we still have space in the Alliance camp! ICly, there are several ways for one to find out about the campaign: posters on the noticeboards across the world, letters to known allies, or simply by rumours! If you want a calendar-invite, whisper me in-game on Khendran or Galedric. You can always just pop up in Twilight Highlands on the 27th, before 20:30.

So how'd it go? Kinda missed it cus I got begged to do overtime at work...hope all the planning into this paid off.

It was splendidly bloody and horrifically laggy.

The Horde secured and defended their beach-head successfully, and the push into Alliance lands will continue!

RIGHT! The Chapter didn't know about this. Prepare to burn in Holy-Fire, Orcs!

It was great, though at one point it lagged so hard for me that I didn't even see the terrain anymore. Otherwise was fun!

Thanks for all who attended the event, sadly the Alliance side trailed a few raids behind, but this can be easily remedied for the next event: tell your friend, family, that creepy hobo in the corner of the street, we can do better than this guys!
We'll see again on the 11th of May, in Wetlands!

Also, for those attending on Horde side, I would recommend using the following command at the very first opportunity.

/ignore Cinch

It makes the whole experience a lot more immersive.

The guy was clearly trolling and I did /ignore on Cinch as it was very clear he was just out to incite nerd-rage from the rp'ers. However I still had to put up with the replies in general that really made the rp community look like drama queens.

So....to make it an immersive experience, ignore the trolls and don't fill general chat with pointless arguments!

Basically, don't feed the trolls. It amazes me how many people bite when they're being trolled.
That being said, the event itself was superb.

Jeanpierre VERY nice work with the video. I watched it about 4 times in a row ^^ Thanks very much for doing it, good to have something to remember it by.

The server didn't crash...yet. Was an amazing event and it does show just what blizzard servers are truely like. I fear for MoP WPvP if it can't handle this...But to Rargnasha and the alliance counterpart whos name I do not know but you too!

Thank you both for such a wonderful event was great fun and I for one hope to see it again (maybe try and keep it a bit lower key we might actually get more done than watch the lag win the game and aoe kill people) However thanks again and rarg /lick

Khendran is the one who made this possible, Alliance side ofc!

I joined late, but i enjoyed a lot the short time i was able to freeze hordies. Will be there on Skarain next time
