[World RP event idea] Nordrassil Truce

Nordrassil Event


Pilgrimage from Emerald sanctuary, Felwood to Celebration party in Winterspring to the gates of Hyjal. Drinks in Everlook.

Nordrassil has been slowly recovering from the devastation of the Third War, when Malfurion called upon the tree's power to destroy the archdemon Archimonde and repel the forces of the Burning Legion and Scourge. We now must celebrate the life tree and join together like we once did to save it. One of the few times in our history where all races of our world a united front, against the burning legion and its threats.

Pre-Cataclysm event.

''From the Firelands within the Elemental Plane, Ragnaros and his minions prepare to burst into Hyjal and set Nordrassil ablaze -- and the conflagration would endanger all life on Azeroth.''

Basically, open rp event with the horde and alliance. Just a celebration of being one and not having any conflict.

The idea is based from the first world war, where at christmas 1914, 1915 and easter they had a truce.

Great idea, only thing is stopping the horde and alliance ripping each others throats out!

You can certainly try, but the last time an event came near Hyjal the night elves went all frothing-at-the-mouth angry and wouldnt let anyone near

Considering ALL races helped to save the tree, this should be the one exception XD

Because this event doesnt call to go and explore Hyjal itself icly. Whereas you dwarves even had a poster up where it stated to "try and find a new way into Hyjal"

Isn't Hyjal a sacred place and is pretty much hidden for good reason?

Derailing Vect is derailing. Un-related to the event, sort of refering to the dwarf/nelf incident.

No incident tbh, just them thinking they could go anywhere seeing they're all friends in the alliance.

Hyjal is out of bounds because the Druids are attempting to let it heal. Not in some vein attempt to regain immortality, but simply because it is still the World Tree. The source of life. The successor of G'hanir.

Well we werent actually going to go in and stuff, it was just a thing to have a giant party and cross faction fun. XD like games and stuff, wrestling etc haha. It would be hilarious if played right.
