The Battle for Dun Garok
On the cold and dark evening in Hillsbrad two forces gathered in both seperate locations. One was being set up in Tarren Mill, the other one in the keep of Dun Garok.
The Forsaken of the Cult of Shadow had surrounded themselves with hired mercenaries, old agreements were being called upon and so the Cult gathered a force to be reckoned with in the town. Once the leading Commander had her say and the Prayer to the Shadow was done by the Shadowpriest Malidus, the force set out to march towards Dun Garok.
Once close to Dun Garok the Horde force got set up in battle formation by the leading Commander Daeyna, ready for battle and they rode on towards their goal, ready to get those dwarves out of Horde lands!
And finally they reached the walls of Dun Garok. Everyone stood ready, weapons drawn, bloodlust in their eyes!
The first battle the Horde charged the Lordearon Alliance and the Three Hammers, but they hold their ground bravely and managed to push the whole Horde army back into the hills where they regrouped. Then the Alliance took their turn to charge, aiming to push the Horde troops even further back towards Southshore. But now the Horde had seen what their opponents could do and took up their weapons, fending off this attack. The next wave brought the Dwarves back to the gates of Dun Garok, the Horde once again winning.
The last clash, both parties had some casualties and wounded soldiers, everyone was getting tired.. this would be the final battle for now, but what the dwarves did not know was that the Forsaken had send some rogues into the keep while fighting in the hills, poisoning their food and drinks with a mild version of the plague...
The dwarves stood their ground in the final battle, pushing the Horde off for now, who retreated back towards Tarren Mill. But not fully defeated... The Dwarves would feast, drink, celebrate their victory! Only to notice later of course what the Forsaken had done to their supplies...
((I would very much like to thank every Horde guild that came to the aid of the Cult, namely: Sin Belore, Murder Row Cartel, The Shatterskull Marauders. Alliance side thanks to the Lordearon Alliance and the Three Hammers for the endurance and not wanting to quit when aBoC showed up. The last battle we moved into a Wargame to fix the aBoC problem, thus blocking them out and we fought the last epic battle on the midfield of AV! I hope everyone enjoyed it and... will continue in the near future! (not telling when for obvious reasons.. ) If anyone has any screenies from the Alliance side, post them too!))

Can I interest you in some anti-plague Consecrated Clay Cookies(TM)?
They are absolutely not suited for non-Sin'dorei use and guarantee the shitting of bricks.

I think it could be fun to use wargames for some no-holds-barred pvp, at least with regards to ressing. Maybe have each side stop short of the actual objectives of the BG just to keep the battle from ending early (and bar each side from hanging around the other side's graveyards).

Re: The Battle for Dun Garok
The follow-up battle should be done on the same location. We will only switch to Wargames if it truely neccesary.
Only downside to Wargames is that none of lower levels can join the battle. Which restricts players who are just there for the battle RP (caring for the wounded ICly) from joining in. So this solution although good won't be applied every battle.

Big props to who ever made the Wargame call. It looks like a decent enough solution to a no win situation.

Re: The Battle for Dun Garok
* Enraged and snarling Daeyna throws her last batches of plague against the closed door of Dun Garok, her form still covered in dirt and earth.* "How dare they bury me alive! This is an insult I will not forget! They will all die for this, I promise it to the Shadow, they will!" *She shouts this towards the doors, stamping off to go collect the broken body of her undead wolf that had fallen before, ruffling the earth out of her hair* "To the Shadow I promise! THEY WILL DIE!" *She motions with her hand towards the one that dug her up to follow her and the Inquisitor does so, sighing at her rage. Daeyna turns to him a bit and speaks* "Don't tell the others though that they managed to bury me... Kinda makes me look silly..." *Drazhk merely grins at her, replying on an emotionless tone with the words:* "I'll try.."
((Thanks for the fun tonight, though I always seem to be the one being captured, but hell, it was fun. Burying poor Dae 'alive' in front of the keep... Haha xD ))

Re: The Battle for Dun Garok
Heavily damaged, Dunderholm limps back to the Apothecary in Tarren Mill. One of his arms is nearly torn off and his armor is more rags then anything.
A crack in his metal faceplate shows part of his face, his expression is that of untold rage and anger. He snarls at the Apothecary's to hurry down and burry their research for now. They have patching up to do.
"Come down here you bookworms" He shouted.
"Back again?" one of the apothecary's replied with a grin.
Dunderholm smacked the apothecary with enough force to allmost twist his head.
"Spare me your amusement, and prepare for another. A Sister...our Brother Should bring her in soon enough" Dunderholm glared angerly at the apothecary who was bringing a spare-arm and started to stich it into place.
"Yes yes..." the apothecary sighed anoyed.
"Apothecary, after you are done with me. I want you to focus on making that other batch of plague more effective. Damn the horde and especialy Garrosh, we will end this." Looked his arm still partialy attach and attemps to move it around. It nearly comes of again, the apothecary looks at him and sighs.
"Stop moving around, it will be quicker if you sit still. And I thought you'd never ask, perhaps we can use the notes you provided us? The one of the orc?"
"Perhaps" Dunderholm replied with a grin, sitting still.
((sorry for the OOC miscommunication I was dead tired, pun har har har))

Seen from horde perspective:
Once again riding out towards Dun Garok!
Plague? Naaaah we don't use plague! Right? xD Oh, woops, we did...
Inside the keep!
Victory!
And once more, now free flying Kettins on horsies included.
Thanks everyone for coming, it was fun!
