But to be fair, we KT at the council yesterday offered an alternative punishment out for Deli, as opposed to getting her head/hands chopped off. We said we could try to sway her from the path she's been mislead down, and teach her properly after she's served time. So you could very much be a forced student, that is if you don't get beheaded/amputated.

Also why to make an alt and divide time between many? I have roleplayed a single character for 7-8 months now and i try to get a bite of as many pies i can, especially those with a "Magical" flavor.

Because it's the KT, not a cresh. I don't want to see Death Knights in the KT. I barely like seeing them in Stormwind.

There's no signs of undead members of Kirin Tor either, is there?

Considering Necromancy is still probably banned by them, so I doubt they'd take in deadies. Atleast in that regard.

The following classes work:

Mage - Obvious

Warlock - Destruction-specced only, as fire mage or warlock masquerading as fire mage. No demons or obviously fel magic allowed, obviously.

Rogue - Actually focusing on the 'mysticism' part of the class, an illusionism-focused mage, like the DnD Arcane Trickster class. Most abilities would be magical spells rather than physical abilities.

Druid/Shaman - Possible as a nature mage instead of druid/shaman. Nature mages are supposed to be very uncommon in Dalaran though (according to Khadgar in The Last Guardian), so any such individual should be rare.

Death Knight - Possible as a frost-using battlemage (with Frost Spec). Would require using no obviously necromantic/shadow abilities, and not being a DK ICly. Not a big fan of this, myself, since non-DK DKs are eh, but it's technically possible.


Classes that don't work:

Priest/Paladin: No, there is no such thing as a holy mage (despite what blood elves/gnomes want to think). Shadowmages on the other hand could exist, but no way would the KT accept them.

Warrior: Possibility as a battle-mage, but would require emoting/iteming all their spells. For the most part, not really workable.

Hunter: No. Staves are not hunter weapons.

Reasons Una would want a slice of KT pie ic.

1 - There is alot of magical knowege there that una will want to nom.
2 - Una wants to collect some magi into his network.
3 - Una wants to keep an eye on anyone who will police Magi.
4 - The libraries!
5 - He is highborne... Let us not assume any relationship would be one way.

OOC reasons.

1 - The server and RP community is very well served by this.
2 - I wish to help how I can to make this work even if it is a minor way.
3 - The Rers involved are great RPers. I want to RP with them.

Helmy Helmy Helmy... you seem to be taking a few ooc potshots at my RP of late. I could take a few back but I do not need to. One duel with Jarric has made more RP than the high and only inquisitor has in a year. Now over to the rock.

Una might be able to physically go there and look up stuff. But he'd be discriminated against and not able to take any kind of professional role (teaching etc).

I couldn't care less if you believe you where the sole reason for the Drustai hunt. Sorry but she could have resurrected anyone using Necromancy and the outcome would have been the same. Because you try and stick your fingers in every roleplay going, even when it doesn't make the slightest shred of sense (Yes I'm speaking of the Ebon Shroud moving to Darkshire :S) that doesn't mean it's all quality/all thanks to you/good roleplay. Try and stick to stuff the Ebon Blades would do. Go fight the Forsaken. Stop fighting people on Stormwind streets and joining the Kirin Tor.

Now someones going to moan at me and say stay on topic, the topic is people becoming Kirin Tor teachers, a Death Knight wants to do this as a Death Knight.

I was in Duskwood just to be there for camper attacks you nab if that is what you are mad at. Even so I can think of a thousand reasons why DKs would be in a place full of necromancy. As I said in the Community meeting, I would come to SW more just to increase the RP as the community wanted SW as its hub. Incidently See the Words of the King if you need more IC for us to be there.

I like the chapter, I am beginning to go off you. If all this is as we came to duskwood and upset your RP get over it, we were there once and left with our tails between our legs. You do not really own Duskwood you know. You got a problem with me take it to messages.

Bottom line is, the Kirin Tor wouldn't accept a Death Knight as a school Master/Teacher. Which is what this thread is primarily about.

Which I never even suggested! Read my post. Where does it say as a teacher.
