It's a hint that just having a "Mary Sue" (as defined by these tests) is not a problem at all, which is why all these tests fail. You can list all the 'cliches' and 'powers' you want, but it's never about that. It's about how you play the character. Many good characters from fiction also score highly on these tests (imagine testing Gandalf, or Sauron).

Being powerful and larger-than-life does not on its own make a bad character.


Real Mary Sues come from being poorly played, not from a list of powers or cliches.

Just dont roll on AD where I guess anything over 5 is grounds for stoning.

My money is on Gandalf to be more mary sue. The whole "run you fools" thing then gandalf the white swings it. Gandalf... what a sucky cliche char.
