My worst, albeit funniest player was a Master Yi that kept yelling at everyone "COME WITH ME AND WE WIN".
Outrageously funny.

Tbh, the community of LoL is one of the best bits about the game! I honestly don't see how people can get offended online, it seems silly to take someone seriously for saying "Fuck you, asshole!" but each to their own. The constant bickering creates competative gameplay and it is often hilarious.

I've got like 8k IP so I'm waiting on the new "Big Daddy" champ to get released before I make a decision between him and Ziggs, although... Ziggs is OP as hell so I'm so tempted to buy him.

I don't really get the Sona hype. She is boring to play; yeah she can be useful but no skill shots, her build is pretty simplistic and her skills you can literally spam. I'm more of a Karma/Taric lover when it comes to healer/support.

on the contrere... the fact she hasd no direct strong attacks to your theory would make the group week.. but one dps and a sona can wipe the floor with two dps's if done properly... its all about dancing her songs and using her x3 song buff to the best effect

Ziggs free week, enjoy. Sona is a essential part to teamfights, her Ulti can win games. Though her laning phase is boring, as you said.

Her ulti is a skillshot, but it's not exactly thin. :p

Also. Tried new Shen, very much approved. My time kept saying my saves were "nice", until Pantheon burst out "You're nice man."
But still, changes are approved. Taunt that deals damage. I accidentally killstealed with that once, I only wanted to taunt, had forgot they added damage. Shame it doesn't taunt creeps anymore, bit of a let down. Every other change is fantastic. That Morde was trouble, but it came down to the tank who could CC, and it wasn't him. Very Happy

All games of the genre are gonna be bad in that aspect. Any team game where you run the risk of being stuck on the losing side for 30 minutes (and sometimes you can easily tell you'll be losing the game in the first minute of play, depending on your team's choice of picks, laning and starting items bought) because of your teammates is gonna turn the "community" elitist as hell. HoN and DotA more so than LoL because the consequences of fucking up in those two games are bigger.

I don't want to derail the thread at all (it's pretty easy to see what it's about in the topic) but if you like LoL, I urge you to at least give Dota 2 a shot once it's out and f2p, the summer's my prediction. Smile

DOTA2 is a much better game for pro players, but that is exactly why I don't like it. Too intense! You fuck up, you pay for it. Sad

there is if you play her propper... been severa times my teem have rushed in about to die and i ran in popped dancing ulti then saved there asses with heal spam and fleet of foot allowing them to escape heal then counter there inevitable counter resulting in epic win!!

But any ol' player can do that!
Take a good blitzcrank for example; he knows his limits, he goes into a perfect place and gets an amazing pull off. That is impressive but a Sona I just can't compliment.

That ^is why she doesn't have "Holy shit! Nice one!" moments. It's always the same. Doesn't matter if you're ap sona or support sona. Spam that heal like you're supposed to.

On a side note, when did everyone start playing LoL? (Easiest way to remember is think back to the first new champion release at the time). For me, Shen just came out a day before I began.

Who are you to determine that? Razz

I've had 12 kills and whatnot on Sona. And assists. She's still nothing special, there's nothing particular with her abilities.

When did I start playing. Hm. I recall Avery being hyped at the time about a new champion, I dare say it was Vayne. I had tried the game a year prior to that, but uninstalled it after that horrible How to Play guide, so the second time I tried, bout Vayne's release, I skipped it to give the game a fair chance.
