Ashe has a free vision on longer range than a ward + 5 gold per CS, so it's a passive gold/5, but you can get several cs per second. Her W hits like a truck, her Q keeps you permaslowed, her R has more teamfight possibility + stun + slow. Her passive increases crit chance, which will help when waiting for CS/gank/teamfight. As the match goes on, she'll get more crit by items so she has to wait shorter for the passive. Ashe doesn't need a escape ability, you can't catch up with her.

As much as I love Cait. Comparing skills...

- Ashe's W can pretty much guarantee a hit, where as Cait's Q requires an estimated guess.
- Cait has traps for a quick stun/map control. Ashe has a very long range sight projectile. She also gets better farm off this ability - extra gold off every minion.
- Cait does have an escape/chase mechanism with her W. However, Ashe can easily slow down and escape a single chaser with her Q. Not to mention how useful it is in catching people.
- Both of their ultimates can be blocked, though for Caitlyn it is far easier. Not only does it have a couple of seconds before firing, when blocked it barely scratches the target and doesn't aid the team. Ashe can initiate with hers, she can send it from the end of the map and it can stun several people at once, even if blocked.
- As far as passives go, Caitlyn must build hers up where as Ashe has a strong crit passive that is up too often imo! Making her an extremely viable poking machine.

Caitlyn and Ashe are my favorite carries in the game, though Ashe is clearly the winner of the two

Cait's Q gets reduced damage the more enemies it passes through and it's easily avoided. Range doesn't have shit when it's easy to dodge.

After taking a watch of the Darius video I am quite dissolusioned between the fact that he is simply another AD bruiser put into the game. Despite this I do feel that he is a great new addition ( on part that it's finally a champion who you can't exactly escape from due to his E ability which I believe is personally a good implementation).

Would, however, like to see a new support champion as there hasn't been a decent one in quite a while. (I personally believe that Lulu isn't really a general support. I've always seen we in matches played towards the solid Ap carry roles.)

Loooooool, me and a friend discussing the range of Cho'Gath's Rupture spell and Brand's Pillar of Flame spell. Reason? In the new patch, Cho'Gath's Rupture will get a green/red circle on where it's going to hit and a reduced launch delay (from 0.7 to 0.65 seconds). Reason why they did this? The Rupture spell was nearly invisible in the new Summoners Rift.

About the Cait Q being a skillshot, it's quite easy hitting with skillshots if you're not a bad.

Ashe is easier to play. Cait performs much better the more skilled you are. Also, her Q isn't gonna help when most melees can go Frozen Mallet and they pretty much all have gap closers, and most ranged can hit her from farther range than she can them. Sure a fed ashe will rape face but a fed Cait is much much stronger if you are able to utilize her skills to the full potential.

A Caitlyn will dominate an Ashe early game, and if said Ashe is a retard and feeds her kills at this point, Cait will roflstomp her later too. If you play it careful as Ashe and use your ulti and slows efficiently for ganking, etc, you'll most likely win later. As long as the rest of your team don't feed 'em either.

They're both very good in their own ways.

Ashe's slows can be ver' good. We were in a rough game, was even pretty much, but we caught the enemy out on top when they tried a fast push. They were all faster though, so they were about to escape. I noted their movements, thought of where they were (since the fog of war had them hidden and my vision pigeon was on cooldown), fired my frost volley at an angle through Baron and my team homed in on them and we picked off three. That one well-placed volley got their mid inhibitor down. As Caitlyn, I'd have been praying I left a trap round that corner as she doesn't have an other form of effective CC.

I would choose who you preferred. Caitlyn is awesome in her own little ways, Ashe is awesome in her own little ways. Cait's ulti as well requires a bit more intelligence than people would have you believe. Always try and loop around a team to pick off that kill with the ulti, or some asshole will run in front of it and save their teammate. \o/ They need to be very fast otherwise if you're sat at an angle on the map.

Played my precious Amethyst Ashe, just to see the shiny purple. Enemy surrendered at twenty. XD Me and my friend Zilean beat them pretty hard, and they couldn't kill us back.

They were pretty fed up by our bad humour I think.

Me: CAN I ASHE YOU GUYS A QUESTION?
My friend: Don't let her, she's got a Zilean of them.
