Some people dont think it seems. Also I've seen a few werid guild names apear so i guess they have a few of their members or alt in there to help with spam cause alot of these odd ones seem to be supporting them in some ways.

When people are insulting and/or provoking someone with a really short temper, very. However, the reason i posted the image was that, even if they do know we've made a successful ticket, what can they do? So what? they find out they're getting a tiny bit of attention via that one image, and they learn that a GM has supported us. Now what? How does that really affect our plan in the slightest?

It was worse in Wintersgrasp, where a Goon got hold of the Leader of the WG party and disbanded it saying 'this is goon only', and /1 was just major feed.

I've had tickets going since i saw my first bit of goon abuse for about 4 days staright

This. That was as far as I know the plan, including not responding to any posts regarding or by them, and only acknowledge them if they try to gank events by handing them their asses back to them.

By doing that they can now complain that we are targeting them.

Lini's Extended Guide to Dealing with Goons

On Forums:
Don't respond to their posts, no matter how good counter-argument you might have.
They will try to wind you up while playing innocent themselves, so that in the end you'll end up looking like the bad guy.
All you'll manage to do is get the thread locked or in the worst case get YOURSELF banned. Not worth it.
When in doubt, remember the four important letters. No, I'm not talking about WWJD. The magical letters are STFU.

Or if you think your self-control isn't good enough, systematically use the ignore funcion on every single <Goons> member you see on the forums. (See picture)

In Game (if Horde):
/Ignore. No exceptions.
See no Goons, hear no Goons, speak of no Goons. They're air to you.
Use the Report Spam tool if they're spamming channels. Not only will this ignore them till you log out, it will send an automatic ticket to Blizz as well.
Report them when/if they break the rules. (Familiarize them yourself)

In Game (if Alliance):
Cold merciless steel. Apply directly to forehead. Their forehead. Or any other body part for that matter.
Gank them. Camp them. Invite your friends over as well and tell them to bring the marshmallows. Tell your goth friends to go party out at the graveyards as well.
Once(/if) they start bringing their own friends, leave the scene. You're not there to give them the pleasure of a fair fight, let alone the chance of turning the tables.
Report them when/if they break the rules. (Familiarize them yourself)

If you can't kill them for whatever reason, ignore them.
If they happen to be (emote)spamming and you can't kill them, /ignore them. It works cross-faction as well.

Summary: Goons thrive on seeing other people getting angry. Because of this you ABSOLUTELY must give them the silent treatment.
