Have it worked so far? No.

Sporeggar is already depopulated. That shows how much they can affect a realm over time. An option would be to mass spam Bliz with emails/tickets/anything that could help, in the unfortunate scenario where they do migrate to DB. It would require persistence and a large number of people doing this, if we are to hope for a response.

We are talking about a massive amount here, not just 10-15 people >_> And they don't just PvP and grief. Read what Ari wrote. Even normal RP events in non contested areas become impossible when they invade them.

Give me a "/Signed" ... if you and or any guilds are willing to mass spam blizzard about their behaviour with GM Tickets -and- consolidate and organise hunting party's for them. we have to work with our alliance pals to sort this out. it may be half ooc, but god all mighty, we must do something.

Oh boo, hoo. Maybe it's finally a chance for whatever remaining bickering RPers to finally band together and form a proper in-game community (as in a channel) to come to one another's aid, should they go for the PvP option. It's honestly not like they're pro PvPers or anything, so it's never something that can't be remedied.

If what I hear is true, Sporeggar has grown less inactive due to this kind of idiocy. What does that say about the course of events? That they are truly -that- badass? Or that the players there simply couldn't be assed "defending" what they have been trying to build for years? This ain't me having a take at the (former) players of Sporeggar, but I honestly won't let some kiddos take away my fun with some simple griefing.

In fact, there's one term for me to describe all this: Been there, done that. There's been so many OOCers and "griefers" around here that I could fill an entire asylum with them. Nothing that a mass ignore, massive spam report or an actual ticket can't help, however. If anything, I used to move to another location so it would take them another good while to find us.

The trickiest part in my book has always been having -others- ignore them. As soon as you choose to give them but a single bit of attention, they'll know they're bothering you and -will- insist on trying harder. So, as long as your guild members/friends or whatever don't throw any tantrums around - especially on public forums - keep on ignoring them and mass-boycotting them with groups, raids, trades, whatever. It's not like you're dealing with some entire nation here. It's just a band of random kids trying to look cool to one another. You grief them back, they're not so cool any longer.
