For example, my moving to Sweden is going to require me to spend a another year going through therapy in their special clinics before I can get put back on hormones... even though I've already done my therapy in the US and have been on HRT here for the last two years! This is what I mean about the therapy being a pointless waste of time. It's a bunch of red tape.

... shit, seriously? Wtf that sucks so much D: ... can't you stick to your current HRT program while you're in Sweden? Since you're gonna be there as an expat, are you gonna have to pay for healthcare though or what?

I read somewhere that it's better to remove the testicles so you don't have to keep taking anti-androgens(sp?) ... ? Might be something to consider if it hasn't been done already?

Nah, more of the part with meeting my parents and Im guessing she's the most nervous about traveling out of country, since she's never flown before. And my cousins will probably be coming up from Skåne when they pass by towards Jämtland and they will want to meet her to.

For a happy thread, an awful amount of negativity is being posted here.

I don't know. Right now I'm looking at options, but it isn't looking good. Their system for immigrants is rather bad (hell, it's bad for natives, too). Far as health care goes, I'm not sure if I'll be on the NHS until I'm a citizen. Though I'm unsure. It's hard to research it all since I can't read the language.

But yeah, they don't respect 'previous' stuff. They have a very rigid system that everyone has to go through, even immigrants. You can get more info about it here.

As for the removal, I don't really have the money to do it as a separate operation. It's cheaper for me to just stay on the anti-androgens.

Well, the people at the LGBT youth center say that they know the therapists that are best for trans people, so shouldn't be too hard to find with their help.

I'm having the same problem too as far as finding it hard to research options for moving ^^;; I can't speak dutch -yet-.

She's from Finland! And we saw eachother.. first once in the summer of 2011, then during the autumn and during the new years. I thought its her time to travel and she thought the same! And yes, I'd gladly have her in the same country, we're both trying to get into universities in eachothers countries.

I have to solve a case for legal skills c. After searching for 2 terms through Google I arrive at a jurisprudence site. It gives me a verdict by the Supreme Court. The verdict provides a -great- argument for one side of the case. The verdict also refers to another verdict where it gives a -great- argument for the other side of the case. As I have to present both arguments this pleases me greatly. Now I just need to look at the parliamentary history, and find a good book about this.

My friend is helping me put together a list of components to build a good gaming PC! I love having techy-friends. <3 He's made a budget for it and he's going to pick out the stuff himself. I just need to pay for it and build it naked, with rubber soled shoes on.

I may have added the last bit myself, but I'm pretty sure I need to avoid static.

So, I did that interview. It was strange. It was about who I was as a person. Did not see that coming at all and became chaotic because of it. Good feeling about it though.
