But she suddenly took a punch at gamers/gaming, branding it an addictment and really hard to fight as a parent.

I seriously snapped at her in the classroom, snarled at her and said it was highly offensive to even claim that, and that if she's got problems with her kids risking school over gaming (and they're like 12/14 as far as I know <_> ) then that doesn't mean it's like that for everyone.

I never ever had an issue with school because of gaming, nor with my family.

Gaming addiction can be very serious though. One of the students I was mentoring had self-esteem issues, and he used to be literally addicted to video games because that was how he sort of "escaped" his problems and it was the only place he felt good about himself. He left school now though but I think he's seeing a proper counsellor now. Also, you shouldn't have shouted back at your teacher tsk tsk! I'd have gotten suspended if I did that at my school, but only because English people are uptight aholes tihi.

We have a teacher from England on my school, he's by far the coolest and most relaxed, and nicest teacher we have.

And I shout back the best I like! If someone step on my toes I won't just shut up. Besides I didn't like her to begin with, harder to shut up then xD

Me too. Damn, I hated my French teacher.

We got that whore fired. >.> I swear to god, she couldn't teach. And she manhandled a student one day when she couldn't control the class. That's the day we all snapped and decided she needed to go. She just hated kids. Soooo much. She'd take everything out on us so much that we didn't learn anything at all. In the end, I stopped doing French and got a transfer to Latin. Where I got the best teacher in the school. *-* Mrs Cannon.

I will always remember the Geography teacher next door. If we were waiting for the teacher to arrive and unlock her door after lunch or something, he'd peek out and say "Oh I'm sorry, Mrs Cannon's not coming back."
