"I am the wee hairy man, the wee hairy man that's who I am!
I live in a town called pre-history, you'll hear about me in R.M.E!"

R.M.E being Religious and Moral Education.

It was called The Wee Hairy Man and about how he met his wife, The Wee Hairy Woman, and they had a son called Wee Hairless.

It was full of euphemisms. :>

Omg that remind me of my primary school teacher Mister Peach! He was so awesome, played guitar all the time :3 and took us to the zoo lots and was generally basses Smile

Who of you loveable gay guys wants to respond to a mail I got? I advertised for babysitting work, mentioning I'm a mom of twins. This guy thought it's funny to respond with a request for a full-body massage, mentioning how tall and lanky he is and how exciting the thought is for him. T.T

Biology question
"Suggest why biofeuls might not be carbon neutral."

Markscheme answer goes on to detail how biofeuls are indeed carbon neutral

Its the same thing when people say that Electric cars are better for the environment then petrol cars...

How do you think the electricity that you put in your damned car is produced?!

I believe its a fuel that when consumed is overall produces no carbon net gain to carbon dioxide in the environment,

Sorta like Ethanol, when produced, it takes in CO2 as its normally made from Sugar cane, etc etc.

Yep. It's one of those fancy renewable energy sources.
If you turn 1 kilogram of corn into fuel (for example) and you plant more corn that'll grow to 1 kilogram of corn, you get that carbon neutrality.

But that's what I don't understand...

I mean, The carbon is already there, you're just storing it someplace other then air... so how can you call it neutrality?

even fossil fuels don't magically produce carbon, its simply there.

I understand that the current definition of being Carbon Neutral = if you absorb as much carbon-dioxide as you blast into the air again.

and the reality of it is, that nothing is "Carbon Neutral" or everything is.

and people actually still believe they fly carbon neutral if they check that eco box and trees are planted for them... lol.

The energy and co2 input used to create and run said product gives a net gain/loss of 0% co2 where as a normal product let's say a car is not you also in rair places energy eficianciet factories that have abet loss of co2 output to input those are usualy renewable energy production plants after they have paid off there co2 construction "debts"

I'm not sure if i'm following this correctly:

You're saying that renewable energy plants have a bit of a loss, until they have paid off their debt?

or they're still having a net loss after they've paid off their debt?

Do you know that a single windmill needs to run 70 years at full capacity before its "Carbon Neutral"?

Well firstly saying carbon debt is silly.

it should be carbondioxide debt, since carbon is bloody neutral, unless fusion or splitting happens...

And i'm just getting bored about people throwing buzz words like renewable, and substainable and biological and green about, and a lot of people buy into the hoax of the word, while not understanding what the feck it means... (though you're pretty on the ball Very Happy )

and most of the debt numbers are seriously under-estimated...

If I have to listen to one more manager or professor using words like: efficiency, sustainable and about the ppp (people, profit, planet) and god knows whatnot, I will pop out of my skin I think.

Fuck buzzwords Mad

Was there any need for thatcodesending poast? That was extreamly rude. I gave you the definition for what you asked. If you have ever picked up a scientific paper and read it then you would know this. As for the co2 thing if were going to do this properly CO2 is the proper scientific term and also start Reading some enviromental journals. Scientists around the world have spent well over 50 years colecting data with regards to CO2 hardly a hoxe and calling it such is a big insult to all these scient as you are efecuivly accusing them of falsifying data. One of the biggest hates in the scientific community. If you dissagree then show me FACTS and links disprooving this data that has been so painstakenly collected and anolised!!! And think beffor you reply and it's actualy closer to 7 years that wind farms pay off there CO2 debt from construction. And I use all words in there propped place there. Don't like it. Leave the topic to die!!
