Placed with pride of position on every city notice Board, Military Barracks Boards and even on the walls of the Neutral city's of Dalaran and Shattrath rests a large Poster baring various Symbols and specifically the Banner of the alliance, it reads clearly in the related language of each region as follows...

The Vanguard

Your contribution to this force will never be hampered or spat upon because of your individual choices. We uphold a proud tradition of tolerance and acceptance and will Continue to do so, giving Every individual the right to fight for the freedoms they believe in.

The First Official Gathering of the Legion will be on Thursday the 12th of January at The Eighth Bell past noon, The Location has been Designated as Valiance keep in Borean Tundra, due to its tactical location between various shipping routes and for the advantages it gives in terms of Defences, facility's and training experience. The First Training Session shall be carried out the next day on Friday the 13th of January at the same location and same time. Items Required are subject to the individual or Regiment, However it is requested that participants wear either Alliance private or Knight tabards (This is desired, not mandatory). You are reminded that all Races, Creeds of the alliance and Groups are welcome and invited to join.

((thats right folks! come the new year i will be Reforming the Vanguard and hoping to restore it back to its former glory. specific meeting dates for leaders and war training will be posted after christmas. The success and wonderful W-rp-pvp that this server became famous for was built partly on the back of this organisation, so it fills me with pride to be able to organise it once again, and i hope you the community embrace it again as you once did. i'd like to invite all Lawful alliance guilds and individuals to take part and contact me on "Thuros" (thats seiken, ahem), Everyone is welcome.

Actually Lex, we usually waved the alliance once and Seikens... which is the White lion on red you see above. BUT... i would love to have a special one just for us. if only i could use photoshop or even draw...

On a sidenote, I'm planning to hold a Duelling tournament open to all members for the vanguard, the victor gets to carry the Legions Banner into battle (supposedly a great honour).

And ontop of that, i will be organising a competition for someone to design and draw up an actual banner for the 10th Legion - the Vanguard. Winner of the competition gets a shiny suprise, an amount yet to be decided! The Theme will obviously be the Legion itself, but hopefully take on aspects of its battle honours and history!

It seems i've been pursuaded to give a prize of five thousand gold coins to the person who makes the most presentable and relevent banner design for the vanguard, the Decision will be made by a panel of three Vanguard veterans!

Well i'm pleased to hear that ^^ will hopefully have our first mass meeting and training in the new year, then begin a An RP focus in a region or continent that can allow us to develop RP, tactics, familiarity and plots.

I was hoping to take us to either Outland or northrend, Aiming to build infastructure and support alliance endeavours in these regions... taking mines, building bridges, clearing out ogres and hopefully get some w-pvp contact from any horde interested!

Right! It needs to have something to do with the history of the Vanguard, have a suitable emblem, have the number 'Ten' In roman numerals in some corner to show which legion we are, oh... and be blue...
