A question if I may. The Three Hammers is essentially the dwarven infrastructure of the alliance. Does this not mean that any dwarf that wishes to either come from one of the three clans, or swear loyalty to the alliance has to, by default be a part of the guild?

So Every Dwarf RP'er on the server who wants to RP a lawful member of the alliance in one of the big three clans has to be in TTH?

Forced recruitment would be funny XD. Always been curious of the three hammers. Never rped a dwarf but its always seemed pritty cool.

Dear Krogon, the above post I made was said in joke, which you failed to understand. We do not force people to join The Three Hammers and I don't see a reason why we should? Now, don't taint this thread with your rather silly comments. Thanks.

I think you may have misunderstood my question. I was asking from a lore perspective. The Dwarves of the Alliance, as in, the ones that reside within Ironforge, work with Varian, the other Alliance leaders etc, they all form under The three clans; Bronzebeard, Wildhammer and Dark Iron. That senate or council are those three clans bought together.

From what I understand of The Three Hammers (The guild), you are essentially that group? You have a senate, military operations and a guard section. You are the Dwarves of the Alliance. What im getting at from a lore perspective is that, really any Dwarf wishing to swear loyalty to the Alliance, should, in a lore and in-characterly sense respect -and- obey The Three Hammers.

For example. Bob the Bronzebeard Paladin swears alligence to the Alliance, of course he does, hes a Dwarf. However, he wishes to join the Mercenary band 'Blades for Hire'. However, because he is bound to the Alliance, he has to respect and obey the higher members of The Three Hammers, regardless of if he is part of Blades for Hire because those players are part of the Senate, head of the guard etc.

I think im explaining whats going on in my head right, it just seems like monopolising the Dwarven market a little. If you understand where im coming from?

The Three Hammers as a guild RP a PART of the Dwarven society when we had like 500+ members. Just as we were part of the army with Dwarven Rifle Squad (which we outgrew rapidly at the start of Cata), we are part of the Council and the combined society with The Three Hammers.

So no, we're not monopolizing the Dwarves and the Dwarven RP. We're part of a society, but we're not the entire society.
