The draft for my Gilnean still-nonexistant character I have lying around:

Switch Englishman for Gilnean (even has the same amount of syllables if you pronounce it Gil-né-an) and New York for Stormwind (again, same amount of syllables) and you have it.

While not exactly describing Thelos per se, I've always pulled inspiration from George Harrison's oevre for his character. This video captures the fiercely passionate devotion an Anchorite has for the Light, while combining it with a strange and ironic sense of light-hearted humor. Many Hindu hymns are like this, and I could just have linked any one of them, but I really wanted to share one of Harrison's songs, since he captures the spirit of these hymns so accurately and puts them in a contemporary style the modern westerner can understand, without having to deal with the language and culture barrier.

I made for my chars playlists, following the advices of this, but I'm a fan of soundtracks, usually, so nothing odd for me.

John Grenier's theme would be much this:
It has everything he was: despaired, romantic and fundamentally doomed.

Tuomas... I really don't have an idea: he's been many things, and he's done much, even if I know him way better than Grenier, I still can't find a real focus for the char, a single song I don't think will ever make him justice. Perhaps this:
describes most of him.

My chars atm have not a real identity yet, so I can't say much on them. I'll see step by step what could fit them.
