Is 40 minutes enough time to get off the plane at heathrow and then catch another plane from heathrow as well?

There's a later flight but it costs like twice as much so hmmm

Depends on your luggage etc. That sounds bloody risky, possible, but risky.

Also remember your first flight can be late, etc.

Depends on luggage and if you need to pass a security check or not. The lines for the checks can take 20-40 minutes of hell at bad times. And if you need to switch general terminal I'd say no chance in hell.

Ya that's what I'm worried but I also don't want to have to pay three times more for the ticket if I can avoid it bleh!!! I know it'd be possible here in Kuwait but I've never been to heathrow myself so ... I dunno. I hear it's massive and huge though :s

Bleh might as well just go for the later more expensive one just to be on the safe side ... thanks guys :)!

I don't trust the English. I'd say phone them up and ask for advice, but they're generally useless and will say SURE but then they lose your luggage and you're fucked. They'd also open up ONE ticket check booth so that the line stretches for two hours out the door. Razz

40 minutes is NOT long enough. UK immigration is a long and painful process. Took us hours to get through when coming back from Egypt.

I was totally lucky when I went to the airport last time. My queue in Edinburgh was about ten minutes long to check in, walked straight into the security check and back out in a few minutes and ended up with over an hour to sit and sort of... kick around, being bored, as I waited on my gate to ready itself. Sad

But that was me being lucky. Or unlucky. I find time travels faster when you're in a blind panic over how late you're getting.
