peacoat's are what every topman-shopping semi-fashionable person wears nowadays, get a quality duffle coat!

also, if you don't mind second-hand, i recommend looking around thrift stores for affordable, quality peacoats (and all other manner of vintage clothes). you'll need the patience to find one, and then find one that fits, but they're great if you're strapped for cash and usually tailored.

Scotland isn't that cold actually, all you need is some protection against the rain (if you're fussy about getting a normal jacket or sweater wet).

Lol we'll I've been out at night in a tshirt and shorts when its like 10C or so and I found it kind of chilly but not cold. My dad is trying to give me his camel skin jacket which smells like urine

And we don't have thrift stores here corleth only colossal sized shopping malls and those big commercial european brands like zara and mango. I'll buy a peacoat or whatever just in case but I think if I just layer and layer I should be fine.

And wth is "rain"?

Rain is something that happens everyday in those british countries. If legends are to be believed.

In Manchester it does indeed rain daily. Other parts of the UK get more varied weather. Mainly one or more of the following:

overcast, foggy, windy, wet, wetter, snow, sleet, hail, rain, damp

In Yorkshire the SUN ALWAYS SHINES.
