The Next Great Vote: To Beard Or Not To Beard

From the great laugh I had reading the tea coffee vote (which tea won grats tea people) I Decied The next great debate for the forum should be beards yes or no.

I quite recently joined the beared club. And I entered into a whole new society of MAN!
So moar beard for the people!

To beard should not even be a question. To beard is a responsibility a true male individual is to have. If you cannot adhere that responsibility, you are not worthy to beard.

Hehe a great post there koz, I've been a beard man for 8 years now only trimming not shaving off the bad boy XD

Beards are sexy. But nice, well groomed ones, please. No Gimli.

My only beard annoyance is a patch that is slightly less thick which makes any attempts at full beards look silly!

And yea, it has to be groomed. Being just... "hair" is reserved for Santa.

Good beard care is always needed.

Am I the first one who dare to say no to the beard? Clean shaven is the way to go. If someone at all should feel the need to have facial hair, I'd prefer a small, neat, and well groomed thing. A beard should not be an acceptable substitute for facial hygiene.

Just because you've got a beard doesn't mean you lack hygiene. Hell a face with a beard needs more upkeep than one without! Watching a smooth chin is a cake walk compared to scrubbing a beard.
A good beard reinforces a good chin! Same as the chin can make the beard more proniminent!

Also, Ulysses S. Grant had such a fantastic beard.

But grooming has to be done, the climate isn't worth a Viking beard.
Also I'd likely set it on fire if it was that long, but long enough to be visible. A good accent and helps the chin stroking while thinking, increasing thought capabilities by 37%.

My apologies to you bearded gentlemen who interpreted "A beard should not be an acceptable substitute for facial hygiene" as a comment/insult on all facial hair featured faces, I meant it as a continuation about ungroomed facial hair. I have no doubt whatsoever that you all take good care of your respective beards ^^.
