[H] Crown Crossbones Company
The Crown Crossbones Company,
A forsaken only guild
First off, I would like to thank Sadok (Orcs of the Red Blade) for providing the idea and initial guidelines for this guild.
What is the goal of this guild?
The goal of the guild will shift as times goes by and the number of members would increase. It would start out small, a band of marauding troops each with his own field of expertise. The guild is extremely loyal to the banshee queen and carries a letter of marque, (supposedly) signed by the dark lady herself.
The main focus will initially be to refill the money-coffers of the forsaken nation, since these have been most likely dwindled in volume as a lot of resources have been spent sending troops to Northrend, equipping and building an army to invade Gilneas and most recently Ogrimmar). It will therefore be very active all over Azeroth and of course the new Draenor.
The goal would gradually shift towards more of a private army as numbers would increase, carrying the forsaken banner proudly to the fields of battle and ‘assisting’ their allies when needed and thus introducing PVP into the guild as well.
Why forsaken only?
The Forsaken are distrustful and even slightly xenophobic (in some cases) by nature and do not mix well with the other races of Azeroth, shunned by most and feared by others. Moreover the forsaken nation is a very tight community and the only people they seem to trust are they themselves. It would therefor only be logical for a group with this specific goal and loyalty in mind that it would consist solely of forsaken.
Will there be a religious aspect?
Most certainly, although do not expect something like a holy order or a cult, we do not necessarily do things in name of our religion, rather in name of our nation. That being said each member is free to follow religion to their own extend. Of course we would have priests preaching the word of the Forgotten Shadow (since we are forsaken the holy light is out of the question) before a battle or mission but weekly sermons or holy doctrine is not a thing the guild would focus on.
Will there be military training?
If you mean days specifically reserved for marching around and taking orders from a drill instructor then no (except for the real soldiers of course). Of course there is room for members to train amongst themselves but the guild is not
What is the guilds stance on the other races?
We are hostile to all the other races that do not belong to the horde, we carry a letter of marque after all and thus nothing of the alliance is sacred. Pillaging small camps, torturing prisoners, killing patrols, boarding ships. If it is painful and not good for the alliance, we do it.
Our official stance on races of the horde is that we are their allies, we may not like them all very much but that doesn’t stop us from occasionally working with them. Again this is free for every member to interpret but you will get slapped on the wrist (or worse) if you get caught deviating from the official stance (this is of course handled in character).
What would the structure of the guild look like?
It will be based on the four quarters of the forsaken capital with some elements mixed together.
The four quarters are as follows:
New members are Supplicants, and are quickly assigned one of the four quarters. The Company itself is led by an Procurator.
So I would like to finish up with who would be interested in joining this guild? Let me known in the comments or via PM.

- The Ministry: Members of faith, the best of the Cult of Shadow. It’s members consist out of zealots and are led by a Chaplain (officer) who reports to the GM;
- The Regiment: The militarised branch of the company, they are the soldiers, warriors. It’s members consist out of soldiers and are led by a Captain (officer) who reports to the GM;
- The Brood: They are the sneaks and survivors, it’s members consist out of agents led by a Spymaster (officer) who reports to the GM.

Well I need people to help set this guild up, the beauty about this concept is that we can start out very small and don't have to pretend we are larger ICly then we actualy are OCly. And we can pop-up nearly anywhere where there is action.
So I would also ask for people who might be interested in an officer position.

If I had a Forsaken I'd be into this so quick honestly a really good concept and I'm sure you'll go far. The structure of the guild and the plan also seems well thought out. So good luck to you guys!

Re: [H] Crown Crossbones Company
I'll admit, after Ashal Anore was set up properly, my plan was to roll a Forsaken and make a sister guild to help regenerate Undercity RP. Glad I don;t have to worry about that any more.
In fact, the Forsaken alt is already made. I'll be in touch

Re: [H] Crown Crossbones Company
Good luck with this one! I see far too few undead RPers on the server as of late, no doubt part because there's hardly any undead RP and/or guilds to be found out there. I'll direct as many undeady-looking people to this thread as possible!

Did you receive my ingame mail?. I still need to preorder WoD and i'm thinking of using my level 90 boost to make a forsaken char. How is the guild coming along. Is it up and running already.
Greetings

And on the first unofficial event there was suddenly a group online of five or six Forsaken gathering in RP already, joining the northern assault of the Blasted Lands under Rargnasha. Very nice to see, and keep it up all!

Re: [H] Crown Crossbones Company
Currently we are "helping" the horde in their campaign at the dark portal.
OOC the guild has been formed and the Forum has been made.
IC the guild will be formed on monday during a rather secretive meeting. *makes spooky gesture*
