I'm currently considering the possiblity of rolling a Draenei monk and just playing him/her as a Broken in roleplay. Monk is probably going to be the closest thing Draenei are going to get to a class that approaches the stealthy/rogue Ashtongue Deathsworn that surround Akama. I can definately see some of Akama's inner circle, being ex-Karabori Anchorites, as monks.

It makes even less sense that everyone gets monks but Worgen and Goblins. It's a practicality thing more then it is a lore or even a "sense" thing. They just want as much players as they can practically reach to enjoy the new class.

Well, tbh quite a few race class choises etc are a bit "wut?"
Like the fact that Humans couldn't be hunters until Cata.

Or the fact that when TBC hit and they made paladins for horde and shamans for alliance, that dwarves where not given shamans untill Cataclysm, while in reality they have had them all along. I would also have loved to have seen Forsaken Paladins, but that's just a personal thing I guess.

Anyway, yes there is quite a whole lot of derp when it comes to race/classes. Trolls didn't have Warlocks or Druids until Cata either.
I also find it curious that Gnomes, having been in the Alliance since the second war, are not allowed to be trained as Paladins. I know they've not had much care for the Light and all that for a very long time, but I believe they should've earned their right to be trained as one if they desire too.

They're too short. They shouldn't have warriors either. They shouldn't have any class. They should just have their own class. It's called "Short". They don't have any abilities and they move all slow-like. Because they're short.

They can think real good, though.

Elves will be shot with an Anti-Tank Gun at Conception.

They'l make fine dog food, though.

Night elf men will only be able to roll druid, mage or Death Knight.

Kris, would you really be so mean to your dog and feed him Night Elf flesh? REally?
It could catch something and die!

While Blood Elf flesh, if sorta gross, would be a high end quality meal. And might give the dogs fed some nice usable side effects in the form of moldable arcane powers!

Your argument is invalid, there are no dogs in Quel'thalas.

Sure there are, there's dogs of the Orcish breed, the Tauren breed, the (rare) Troll breed and Goblin breed of course, and it's absolutely packed with those flea-ridden Blood-Elf-chiuaua-"dogs"

Pandas should clearly be proper marxists....
Might change it to a shaman though.
And more on topic, the monks in beta seem pretty fun, brewmasters get to throw kegs at people.
Haven't gotten that far yet, but parts of the chi system seems rather annoying, though roll makes up for any fault the class might have....
