Town Crier wanted!

Eyes of the Dark Realm have recruited their very own Dark Inquisitor! He will be snooping around acquiring information on various organisations and people and also conducting some in-house investigations and such. Assassinations are not a part of his contract, he does have an itchy trigger finger however.

With the information he hopefully acquires we would like to hire a town crier, someone who is not a part of the cult or is not aware of what the true purpose of his role is. He'd assume he was nothing more than an average town crier, spreading relevant news to the people of Stormwind.

However what he will really be doing is slowly and in subtle steps, shattering the trust of of the populace in their Light worshipping overlords, discrediting the name of the cults enemies, spreading rumours and white lies and leaking some "secrets" that some may not wish to be leaked. You know.. what your every day news agenc gets up to! ^_^

So, looking for feedback and possible volunteers. You'd be paid in gold, it'd be a job/profession with an interview. Experience preffered but not required and all that and you won't need to be in the EotDR guild to do it. Probably be working maybe once or twice a week for around one to two hours so nothing demanding.

Let me know what you guys and gals think too

I don't have a character fit for the job but I wouldn't mind rolling an alt for the job... If there is no other person that can take on the role with a character they RP more actively, that is.

I could help out with Rayka. Although she's not really crier material, she's a gossip queen. And with the right pay she's not beyond incorporating a few of those nasty hints into her fortunetelling. That'll get people paranoid.

Don't let her know anything truly dark, though. She's very devout even if she doesn't look it. >.>

Let me shed a little more light on what I'm looking for. A neutral, slightly dim, loud, peasant type. Not all to clued up on current events and will be obedient in their job.

When will this job commence and for how long will it last? Perhaps... the work could be divided among the people that offered a hand?

Djego can help with this, he's a naive, flamboyant entertainer that loves the spot light.

Actually a great idea, a small group of criers working different shifts and different districts. If the interest was there it could be arranged. It will probably commence in one or two weeks time.

Created a character for this, his name is Sammicus.

Dividing the applicants over different districts sounds like a good idea.

Sammicus, Jeanpierre, Rayka and Djego so far. Priority for Djego so far, all four or more will quite possibly be given the job though. I was hoping it could add some progression or a plot tied in to the role for someones main but for myself it makes no difference if it's an alt or main. The anchor is still out there for anyone to get on bored if this is something that could be used as some CV filler for your mains Will get in contact during the week people, thankyou.

Sammicus can "cry" for whoever will hire him.

I have a character, Vittore, whom I've been looking for him to do something for a long time. He's been travelling around, looking for random work, so very much could be involved in this.

Not even a random alt, only played on to level, if he had a RP job, lotsa activeness would be there!
