Fucking internet. FINALLY get back into my room after over two months. Wireless is SHIT. Disconnecting every 3 seconds. Not letting me play anything. Ugh. Can't wait for the 30m cable to arrive...

Shame AMS only lasts ~4 seconds then it's on CD for the rest of the match.

According to a European commissioner we have ten days to save the euro zone. That's nice know. If the past is indicative of whatever the hell is going happen then we're toast. The big crisis we're facing is not a financial one, the real crisis is one of leadership. We barely have any. Oh Europe how I love thee, but how I loathe thy leaders. Fuck em and their ineffective 'solutions'. Seriously.

Not just that leadership, plenty other places have shitty social interaction.
Schools that send victims of bullying away with bad school records so they aren't taken anywhere else.
Complete lack of respect for figures such as the police and ambulance personnel.
Every little negative thing that happens is taken as a personal insult.

Those jokes got old some months ago, they sound pretty much like someone yelling Leeeeeeroy in WoW nowadays but I lol anyway. There's not much your average greek citizen can do anyway, so the puns are deflected rather easily or facepalmed at by now xDEowale wrote:This. Though, it's quite fun to tease my pals from Greece. On a serious note, things here suck more than most europeans might think. The unemployment rate is still rising (around 18.4% atm), while most people suffering by it are in the 30 to 40 age range; many people barely have the money to afford the essentials, like mediaction or even paying the bills for power and young people are fleeing abroad to get out of the whole clusterfuck, weakening the economy even more etc. etc. So yeah...fun times. Especially for those who have worked all their lives and have paid their taxes as they should, only to see their pentions cut down to ridiculous amounts, or those who just finished their education.

I'm doubting whether I'm ever going to vote when I reach that age, here it at least seems from what I've read and heard that trying to pick must be like trying to pick lunch from a plate of turds, and choosing the least objectionable.
ALSO, WORST LOL TEAM EVER.

I can imagine, but alas, this is the price Greece will have to pay. Just doing a quick look up on Greece's policies, the retirement age is being raised to 63 by 2015. The lowest income tax rate is 0% for incomes under 12k a year, the highest tax rate is 45% for 100k a year, a national health care service. Though you do have a high VAT. All these things aren't going to get Greece any sympathy from northern Europe. You guys need a higher retirement age (the one in the Netherlands is being raised to 67, Germany has already has that for a while), tax rates can go up quite nicely. You could privatize the health care service (I understood it to be a government thing). That ought to put a nice dent in your government's financial problems.
But yes, it will be hard on the Greeks. But such is the price for sailing the ship of state irresponsibly.
Edit:

In the Netherlands, at least, there are some good choices. Then again, I'm not really a moderate which, in my view, makes it easier for me to go along with my preferred party's platform. Not to say I like everything, mind you. There's this conservative stream in my party which I'm not the biggest fan of

Not quite. ^-^
I play with her everyday, and yes, we do great.
But we're 2, the completely messed up and teamwork clueless dorks are 3. It's one person enough to mess up the entire match.
I prefer 5 premades, then you know everyone in your team and can play a game you trust.
But yeah, laning with Morinth is generally flawless.

Re: The vent thread
Too much fun is being had here. This is a rant thread. Let's honor it so:
At a PHD presentation of a friend, one of the jury spoke a few words in a closing statement about our generation.
"You will be part of that generation Y. Generation Y will, because of all its instant thinking, and instant answers to whatever they want to have, be hampered and weakened in their long term thinking and solution planning. We expect that to be a problem in the future, but at least.. we hope that this PHD will have forced, and given, you the time to think on a long term solution and plan on longer terms. May this help you in your future."
I kept my mouth shut, but I raged inside. It's a month later now. It still makes me rage. I wanted to jump to front of the room and hit that dude in the fucking head. It's -his- generation that fucked us over. Their longterm thinking screwed us royally. We get to start our lives and carreers with one crisis after the other:
- A political crisis
- A financial crisis
And when we finally crawled out of that hole, we'll get a tax crisis to keep those idiots and their (oh so early) pensions alive, the same idiots that set us up with the screwy system in the first place.
And if, by some miracle, we crawl out of that shit hole too, we'll probably be in another oil crisis (perhaps the last one..).
Meanwhile.. we get to dick around for saving our planet from the pollution crisis.
Oh yeah.. when -they- started their careers and take over the world, they invented the electrical car. How many of them cars are driving around? Thank you very much, mom and dad!
It's true, our generation will have issues: remnants of the fuckup their generation left for us to fix while they had their fun driving around in too expensive cars. As if that's not enough, we get to start with this negative view on our generation? Who the hell are they to cast such judgement? But.. because some experts in "their allmighty great thinking" generation said so, companies have started preparing for this "generation Y". Already we are being cataloged.
TBFH if our generation has not inherited the incompetence that our older generation has the audacity to call "thinking", I say our future might actually look bright.
We have long term thinking issues? For god sake.. Prove your own generation ever succeeded in that. Any critical, thinking mind should conclude they failed.
