Since Garrosh outlawed use of the true blight, maybe they gave Apothecary Lysander's strain another chance?

Not to mention Southshore. That was a 'weaker' strain, I think. There's also another weaker strain (which seems to be explosive) that the Horde has okayed.

Cowards! I charged in on my little warrior several times. x) Aoe damage insta-killed me, but it's bravery that counts!
Now for some shinies. It's the first time I've ever remembered to take event screenshots, and I'm no professional editor. So you get the basics. Don't complain!
Obviously the tide-turners in the war... Go go inbre-... Arathorians!
Then they had to bright idea to send the fiercest warriors off fishing. The nerve! Also, we've adopted Mort. <3 He's our new puppy.
And the highlight of the night! An epic duel between two former allies! Mort joined in with an AH-HOOM! of his own... We all shed a tear of joy.

How are we supposed to treat the plague? As I think most the Ally side would be happier to avoid/take it more seriously if it was;
1. not spammed immensely as it is atm and
2. understood not to be IC instadeath as the plague/blight is lore-wise.
That. Info on this please? Treatment, everything would be splendid. Did ask for that too before the crusade, so far no luck. After poking also in the event channel for this information. I think this is the last place pokeable to be fair.

I skulked around for a while, avoided interacting with anyone. Creating a story for deli to be there won't be a problem, though it may be a bit weird. Replying on behalf of the Cult's millitary leadership (not myself):
'We think the reaction shall be as such:
Everyone shall move from where it was placed- therefore it shall not be overused. This goes both to the Alliance and the Horde. It leaves the area scarred, and if people will it, it injures their character if it was nearby. The only immideate effect is, that as long as it is active, anyone remaining in it for more than reasonable time will be injured; headachs, vomiting, weakness, the usual happy stuff.'
Hope it cleared it.

What of death knights? Is this a plague type bomb that we can carry to infect others?

Pretty sure, from what I heard. The plague is dangerous to undead too.

We have talked about it, if it is blight aka wrathgate it can melt us. If it is a germ then we can carry it, but it wont harm us. Maybe it is both.
Could always roll the /100 to see how bad its effects are.

/shrug Eowale says it hurt undead too. Never elaborated on the 'why'.

The Forsaken blight hurts the undead. And it does it through its acidic effect.... it turns undead into goo just like it turns the living into goo. I am not sure that is the concoction that CoS is using, though. From Rasonal's description of effects, you are either using more of a disease than an acid (thus causing headaches, vomiting, etc), or at least, describing a very indirect hit of the blight (limited inhalation or ingestion of the gas byproduct). Headaches, vomiting, etc, that stuff will not affect an undead being, because they no longer have those physical capabilities.
The proper Forsaken blight is a corrosive liquid with a gas byproduct, which causes painful and irreversible liquification of organic tissue upon touch (the gas part most likely liquifies lung tissue, hence why those affected suffer severe coughing fits). It's basically an extremely powerful vesicant (in fact, as can be seen every time it's deployed, the land itself seems to be covered in liquidy blisters). Therefore, a lower-quality strain, or a non-direct hit, would most likely act similar to a real life vesicant, like mustard gas. Painful, fluid filled blisters, some coughing and respiratory problems when lungs/etc are damaged, and so on.
The symptoms described by Rasonal, therefore, correspond with either a different concoction, or a very minor, indirect contact with the weaker blight. Those limited symptoms will almost certainly not bother the undead greatly, as those parts of their bodies are already dead.

I hope it is biological then so we can carry it to the living
Mind you the thought of walking through the gas as the living run like rabbits is appealing.

If it's the proper Forsaken blight, then it won't be contagious, but walking through it will be equally damaging for both living and undead.
If it isn't the proper Forsaken blight, then there's a good chance it will be contagious, and walking through it won't greatly affect undead (though they can still transmit it to others).
The former is greater as a siege weapon on the front lines, where you can lob it into mass crowds easily. The latter is greater as a weapon against army camps, because it can spread easily, quickly, and quietly throughout the ranks through intermingling.
I could see CoS using both types, depending on the situation.

I'd say, from observations, it's whatever gives the best chances of making the forsaken army grow.

From what I know its bad for forsaken as well since it was created at wraithgate to get arthas and it does who it hurts him. But I guess it depends on the strain used.
