The October Crusade, Chapter one, Hillsbrad.

I see the points remains the same as last night. Have we not done a lot of progress yesterday? And to ask a little more. Considering last night, the victory dinner and so on. Will there be any planned scirmishes today? Or will we just basicly be stuck in the keep (do note: I dont mind the rp it gives) until sunday simply for the reason of having it last longer?

I've heard/been told that there would be skirmishes every day.

No chance in derp that I'd attend all that.

This is the first campaign I've actually enjoyed! Well, I've only been to two, but still! Bravo on the work so far

I wonder, why is the Horde morale never changed? I'd assume it'd gone up/down but it's been on 1.5 forever o_O

Horde lost some area and gained some area. Alliance lost some area but gained the mine. I can't find the rule anywhere, but to me it looks like area with symboel > area without symbol.

Oh well. Roll out the plague wagons! /train

Well first things first, I loved the first 3 fights! I like how the horde won the 3rd fight while using the guards from the east-tower. fair game you stood there and we charged you there.

Then unfortunately in the fourth fight, we saw hordes ress, I know you'll say you didn't, and it doesn't matter really. And then on the fifth the horde charged, while the alliance were getting in position to the part for the next fight. but the horde decided to charge without being told By Drathun while we were backing off to the position from the ress, ganking stragglers and rushing in. So I decided to call the night. Shame it had to end on such a note. and shame that we weren't able to RP out a proper retreat of the zone, which would have been well deserved, after the ass kickings the horde got over the past few days, instead of it ending on this note.


In any case I had loads of fun! Thanks to most of you that participated! Both horde and alliance!

The 2nd victory and so one came as a surprise. And the charging without being told has been done before and will be done again by both sides, no point mentioning it here. It's one of those things that will never change.

That's not the point. if its done. I pull the plug. since that means the armies aren't being controlled to "maximise fun" for both sides. which is the point.

On a more sad note, Bloodwind tried to gank the remaining of the Horde PvP raid when we were in Dun Garok. : |

But, I enjoyed the last battles, for once the numbers were somewhat even. The Alliance lacked more DPS then healers this time, which lead to the Horde victory.

I don't mind getting ganked, but corpsecamping is petty. I hope the druid gets neutered or a bad case of asthma <3

Are these guys a serious roleplay guild, or just a bunch of gankers whom happen to have an RP banner as an excuse?
Noted their presence, and one of their associated rogues on both events -after- the aliance lost, and everytime ganking follows.

Anyway, I think both groups played well, and I really enjoyed both the RP and PVP going on, thanks for organising this!

Just because I can actually answer that:
Bloodwind is purely a PvP guild who respects the RP-PvP Policy of the realm. The Blood Hammer is the RP part of Bloodwind.
So yeah, Bloodwind is not a serious RP guild, while of course a few people do RP in the guild.

Being a PvP guild doesn't give you a excuse for ganking RPers after a RP-PvP event, to be honest.

Well a bunch of us rped as lost behind enemy lines, was a blast. There where search parties and everything, so it really doesnt matter who wins pvp as it just sets up rp.

So what's the excuse of alleged RP guilds doing the same, then?

No-one has a excuse to gank, really. Ganking is one thing I always frown upon. RPers or not, ganking is something you shouldn't lower yourself to.

Do you mean that since there's a separate RP guild for Bloodwind members now, that people shouldn't have any expectation of decency from members with the <Bloodwind> tag while there are RP events going on?
