What do you want out of this plot?
I thought I'd toss this up, as a good means to gauge how to plan it all.
Basically what the title says:
What do you (and your guild) want out of this plot?
How would you like to get involved?
How long would you prefer the plot to go on?
Is there anything you don't want to see/become involved with?

Tbh we dont eat so just really want to watch you all starve
But as a back ground theme, guilds can run events off of it, which would be what I want.

Re: What do you want out of this plot?
On behalf of the Eyes of the Dark Realm cult.
This idea at first strikes me as a very far reaching and quite possibly a long-term situational roleplay event, and I like it.
If the following and backing of major guilds here on Defias pulls through I believe it could be something extremely interesting
to see how players react to and to observe what opportunities players may take advantage of. It would of course
need a lot of guidance and monitoring but I'm sure that can be arranged.
If I was to speak of what the Cult would want from this event would be an opportunity to exploit the Kingdoms weakened
state, hasten it perhaps by the destruction of food supplies. What this would offer others is perhaps some nice roleplay
with escorting couriers for example, or food stocks being guarded in an attempt to counter our schemes.
Really I could go on for a while on what and who could be exploited if this event came to be, but you get the idea from my
above example. A more active cult, requiring more active guards and those who would work against us, meaning more roleplay
to be had.

One of the Cults main objectives is to bring about the fall of Stormwind. There is no doubt we would attempt to do everything that we possibly do to make this happen. It is something that would maybe break your view on the event, the realistic approach as there would be those who would take advantage but I could not see any that would hasten/worsen the situation outside of warfare.
Edit: So on the topic of this thread. The Cult will take advantage of this situation in quite dangerous ways, something to maybe think about in its planning.

Maybe I can point you here then? http://www.defiasrp.com/t3845-famine-ooc
There is a Anti king/noble faction now who will seek to use the event to further their goals.
Funnily enough however I was chatting to Fort about his idea http://www.defiasrp.com/t3855-church-upheaval-idea-wanting-feedbackies-spoiler-alert-aswell
The two could very much tie together. An anti-church of light movement could try and use the drought also.

Re: What do you want out of this plot?
I would like to see people taking risks with their characters and be open-minded to change, even if it seems scary.
What I don't want to see is that everything turns back to exactly the way they were before the event. It just lacks meaning then.
It is however just an encouragement to people to try and trust your fellow players that they wont screw you and leave you dead in the water. Whenever a door closes, a new one opens. So it is with RP; you can almost always spin things to create new RP, even if the situation looks grim and hopeless.
