Where were you during the Cataclysm?

Well, more correctly where was your charecter! Fighting off elementals? Running for their life? Chilling in the Lost Isles? Or perhaps even on Draenor or the strangely unaffected Northrend.

Survivors.

Vectoria: After the reports of elementals invadeing orcish lands and even the four cities of the horde. She spent most of her time using the distraction to hunt through the plaguelands, makeing reports on where the Alliance was advanceing and seeing how the Argent Dawn's efforts were progressing. She was part of the first Forsaken force to be ordered off to Andorhal. When the devestating earthquakes and tidal waves began, she was pretty much un-affected and left with only tremors and aftershocks. She didn't see any signs of destruction until she arrived at the ' new and improved ' Orgrimmar, a few months after the Cataclysm's peak.

Jovvie: Unlike Vectoria, He was at the heart of it. Kezan infact. With Deathwings assault upon the island he was amidst the panicing masses that sold their riches to Gallywix, upon landing in the lost isles he began collecting wood and coconuts.. essentially because he's one of the dumbiest goblins you'll ever meet, even his looks couldn't save him from having to perform rather minimalist tasks. He later met with Kruella and ended up being her right-hand man.

Emberstone: Amidst the fall of Gilneas, she was fleeing her homeland with her younger brother and sister, who were both aiding her in defending their rather elderly mother. It was a terrible time for Anna and although she didn't loose anyone to the Cataclysm itself, she considers it a failure on her part for loseing her family's shop to the forsaken.

Dalylah: Working in Booty bay she saw the full frontal wrath of a tidal wave, and lost a good few friends with it. Mostly ' Work friends ' that she had met from her mercenary work and various bounty huntings, but friends nontheless. She survived the waters through sheer luck, a tauren shaman happened upon on her unconcious, by the shore. saving her through the use of healing magic, to this day she keeps in touch and considers the elderly tauren a great friend in the port town.

Victims:

Edervic: My male undead scoundral met his end whilst traveling the thousand needles, he was infact visiting the various goblin owned towned in southern Kalimdor with a Sin'dorei warlock, both of them were caught amidst the tidal wave, The elf infact survived. Edervic was crushed by the force, with no form of magic to protect him.

Madel: My gnome ' Paladin ' was visiting family in Stormwind when he was crushed beneath rubble, his younger sister managed to escape the devastation and has a tedency to place flowers by the park ruins, whenever she visits the city.

Kekantu: Darkspear berserker, died defending Orgrimmar from the invadeing elementals, buried in an unmarked grave. Amidst the victims from the orcish city.

Perhaps a somewhat morbid post, but I noticed personally: That I deleted and racechanged alot of charecters with the release of Cataclysm and thought it might be nice to think about where everyone elses charecters ended up, during and after the Cataclysm? How did it affect you In charecter? Was there even charecters you lost? Relatives of your charecters?

After trying to convince even the most stubborn of people to evacuate the city, Mandui departed herself and headed to Darnassus...with a small detour, which lead her here.

Having been burried in undeath for 30 years or so, Fenlander quite enjoyed the quake that freed him from his swampy tomb! ...Death to the living...

Jarric was being rich in Buckholme while daddy was still alive. Im sure the Buckholme estate offered patriotic loans to "help" the rebuild.

Friar Arkson was guided by the light to SW after the Cata to minister and heal the population.

At the time Faralan was in The Fordragon Company under Garodin Silversmith's command, defending Stormwind from elementals and protecting the citizens.


You never really know where Trave is until he shows up!

Timna was with Faralan and Garodin in Stormwind, though she was forbidden to defend and attack elementals; told instead to focus on getting others in and getting survivors afterwards, as well as carrying sand bags!

Eira: Was at the parks side as it blew up.
Kahlyn: Far off in Kalimdor.

Kitt: In the basement of the Northern Soul in the Park District in SW, cowering and hiding. Was 'heroicly' rescued by Whitker when the park collapsed into the sea, who then used this fact to emotionally blackmail her for. Ages.

Osrick: Being alternately smug about being safe, and terrified, in Dalaran.

Yeah, spent the time running around panicking or hiding in Miners street, right before the shattering was some of the most awesome rp ever

Shentin was serching for lost relatives and was traveling threw thousand nedles at the time.. only just now has she washed on a shoreline and been awoken by a couple of passing elf

Chareshia was in stormwind at the time mostly in a dazzed and concuss state due to an elemental ambush

Veshneta was in outland

Monrena was still unconcious many years after the exodar crash

lisneira was serching for her brother.. she was in the barrans at the time of the seperation.. she took a tumble down the freshly open cavern and broke her leg coming to a rest half way down.. she spent the next 4 days climbing out and seeking help

Jayse and Auryl were found by Kaldorei in the wreckage of Darkshore, thier surfboards were however not recovered.. >_>

Krogon was hunting in the thousand needles. pro-tip, dont try to outrun a tidal wave.

Saevir was toying with shamanism in the barrens. Cue "oh crap, was that me?" moment when the earth split apart around him.

Morinth was having a hissy fit in Ratchet as a rather rude wave sunk her battleship. She got a new one, so it's all good.

Lyliath was setting fire to stuff, so she didn't really notice Deathwing helping her.

Fuzlpop was gazing in awe at Captain M having a hissy fit in Ratchet.

Sophyra was eager to explore (raid) Uldum together with her wastewanderer friends! Shattering of the world can be profitable.

Exaythe was healing the wounded in the cathedral, and smoking weed she no doubt got from some Cartel-merchant to stay awake.

Ioanna was probably ranting about the End of Times and the final battle between good and evil, and having canons help her don her armor the moment huge Dragon was spotted about Stormwind...only to arrive too late to challenge him to a duel.

Manathon was resting at Iris Lake when a now-familiar volcano erupted into shape. He survived, somehow.

Xildon was busy retaking the rest of Gnomeregan, which due to its superiour structure remained intact throughout the Shattering! He was left without a scratch.

Eodan was serving in the army when the cataclysm hit, the ship transporting them capsized due to the waves, he managed to survive, stranded in the Barrens and managed to get a ship back to make his way to Arathi.

Nathaniel was in some corner of Gilneas, probably hiding hunder a rock cowering.

Theenus was serving in Ashenvale with the Argents against the demonic issues and probably shouted a string of colorful insults followed by something along the lines of - "I'm nae doin' this withou' proper ale, and by tae titans why es yer ground shaking AGAIN?!"

Hodain was out in Tanaris, reading a shady book about schools of magic, reading a phrase out loud when it all went down. "Whoops!"

Teldrassil - though she could feel the upcoming chaos, she payed little attention to it. She was convinced Teldrassil would be left untouched.
