The Rich and the Destitute; Let's talk money!

Grufftoof - Makin tingz dat go boom! Selling to more or less anything to more or less anyone. Anything that's potentially lethal anyway. He's played both sides. And been burnt more often than not. Some money has come in through work as a "barber-surgeon" and some very... crude cosmetic surgery. He's also borrowed heavily from outside investors under pretext of creating medical aids (including false limbs and merkins).

Sprokkit, Trigga, Tynka - No known income. But they don't need one really, they're automatons created by Grufftoof. They can gather various things Grufftoof needs (Ore and Herbs) so that's another income of sorts.

Bryn - A reclusive hermit for the main. Bryn lives off the land and small coin when needed by selling the skins and leathers he will gather from hunting in the North. Also trades with the Taunka and Kalu'ak mainly in luxuries he gets from the South on his infrequent journeys there.

Djego makes a living... by performing and scamming background gnomes into working with him. he burns his money as fast as he makes it though. Buying Hair grease, booze and women is fucking expensive.

Amaryl, used to have a small apple farm and breed horses in hillsbrad, but that's not possible anymore, so she just moves from barracks to barracks for a bunk, and has her savings and army pay.

The Doc, of course, gets the majority of his money by being the principle grower, producer, and connoisseur (fuck that was hard to spell), of Stormwinds remedial herbs and medicine. Some odd coin on the sly for running bars here and there, and ofcourse from taxing the streets.

Genevieve used to live off the Church then drew a salary from the Blazing Shields.

Now days she asks Tarv for things and usually gets them. She has it tough.

Steven Silferdrake is a Baron with his lands in ruin. He is heavily in debt and while food and shelter is provided to him from the Knightly Order of the Legacy of Dawn, his far too extravagant personal life is making him head closer to bankruptcy with each passing week.

Sometimes he gambles for money, sometimes he sells precious family heirlooms, and sometimes he comes up with "get rich quick" schemes.

Crojwin used to work shitloads at the Scarlet Raven. Now he's fishing in Surwich. He used to beg too...or simply nag to Aeldan about coins.

Gustajc works for the Wizard Sanctum in Stormwind.

Veryan hunts for his food and sleeps in deserted buildings.

And...Helsythe gets maintained by the Chapter.

Emberstone; My gilnean mage specialised in elements, carried on her fathers trade of enchanting and scribe duties, she often sets up a stall in Stormwind to offer her scrolls and magical talents, she prefers doing that to hunting or collecting bounties. She does get paid for the ocassional collection of rare materials, whilst on an expedition.

Ezlbag lives off a 10 silver salary from the Cartel, which is more than enough for him to substain himself.
He lives in one of the houses the Cartel is squatting so there is no real problem with rent, and every now and then he gets some extra from robberies, smuggling operations or peddling the docs herbal products.
The only real expenses would be having to provide for his bitch little sister, engineering gizmos and food.

Aisling used to collect and trade rare spell components (souls) and has a small fortune as a result. When she passes away she will give it all to her sister.

Saraid gathers herbs and sell them to alchemists, doctors, scribes, cooks and other professionals which need a little spice in their life. If things are really dire, due to lack of demand or available resources in the area, she has been known to sell flowers in the streets.

Safia lives off Sophyra as her retainer.

Dreth is poor but has a room he rents (now he is a sergeant he could afford to move out of the brothal he was living in!) He spends his money on food, the rum he mostly gets for free!

Arkson has taken a vow of poverty and just owns his clothes, a copy of the holy words and his staff.

Fenlander conciders "...money is meaningless..." but does have friends in high places.

The buckholme estate has more money than the crown! Jarric will spare no expence on the familys public impression but privately is quite a spend thrift. He does like a hunt, and business which is where alot of his gold is spent.

Calath goes to his mother if his own army wage ain't enough. Not really taking care of how much he spends compared to what he gains, might live above his budget most of the time.

And thusly Calath should be slapped until he actually stays below the low budget we already have.

Well... he left the navy and needed a place to stay, so he went back to where he grew up, offered the girls some security and got a place to sleep. The "banging" noises could be a trouble so the secret is to drink a bottle of rum before bed...sleep like a baby!

Kitt lives fairly comfortably off her earnings from mercenary work, though she rarely spends much of it, coming from an impoverished/poverty-stricken farm and raised to be extremely frugal. Her only real expenses are cigarettes and food, and her only significant possessions aside from armour and weapons, are a small house in Westfall and her own gryphon, both of which were bought for her by someone a lot richer.

Jemerick currently works as a cleaner, gardener, etc in the inn of Darkshire. (Also lives there now, after recently forced out of his former home.)

Quinian is a writer, which means he earns fuck all. Luckily he's also greedy and hangs with alot of bad people, so there is always some coin to pocket.

He spends way more then he makes though, so he's always broke

And he doesn't have to spend anything on drugs, the mooching ballbag.

Quin is the next Stephen King?

On Zabatou I considered most questing/raiding/pvping to be fairly IC so I always figured he was well paid in all fields, never lacked for money but then again he mostly stayed in cheap inns and such so he didn't spend much either.

On Chase... what money?

Fawn lived in Booty Bay for a short period of time, stealing from local sailors and random pirates. When he had enough money, he bought a horse and traveled to Stormwind to continue his criminal actions there.

Soon, he saw that smuggling was a excellent way of making money. (He had learned this from his pirate-captors) For a while, he bribed guards and alliance ships to smuggle items to and from SW for him. Not too long ago, he joined the navy - his job. He uses the trips his ship make to smuggle (not able to leave his criminal past behind). This is where most of Fawn's money comes from.

Morinth could help with some o' that smuggling... Hur hur hur. ;D
