Orthur- Ode to Blood.

Jotted in his own Blood in the back of one of his Grimores...

Sacrificing for my power, to devour,
To maim and heal, to feel,
Regardless of my limits, or lack of it,
To collect, to store and reign. Blood is my game,
For without the Book of the Black, of the Blood, beautiful blood,
I would be ignorant. Secrets hidden, forbidden.

Yet I uncover them, own them,
Limitless power is nigh. It's my,
Gift, my birthright, my plight.
In the dead of the night, I fight. I learn and yearn,
For more. As others snore, I sacrifice, my heart is ice,
Temptation bites at me, to do what isn't fair, to be without care.

Yet with every cut I remember. The Power that makes ye cower,
It's energies, the Light that blinds the wicked, the crooked,
Illuminates my pathways, gives me my good days,
Flows through every vein, keeping me from going insane,
Or more insane. I can control it, contain it,
Yet with every empowered spell I cast, I crave it to last...
