The Canals Library

Greetings Stormwinders, And in particular... greetings Braiden,

For a while there's been some ideas to increase the library RP and, believe it or not, this is something Jean-Pierre would be delighted to participate in. Jean-Pierre is somewhat impartial to the library at the canals. Personally I like the spot too OOCly as it is in the middle of some RP regions, compared to the far too distant Library of the Keep (which also feels quite cold).

I know Braiden mentioned he used it every now and then, which is why I'm posting it here. I'd like to use the library and consider it like JP is "managing" the library under direction of the minister of culture. Bear in mind he'll "manage" it as he is in no financial position to buy it... yet (he'll start saving money lol). My question then is... how would that, or does that idea conflict with how other people are using it?

I was thinking of holding an open shop hour there on a weekly basis, say, Tuesday before the council or so, but it might be a spot to find JP more regularly (to buy/sell/steal/mug)

I love the idea. Vezullia helps maintain the Royal Library and is really passionate about books. I know if it was before the Council meeting i'd be there religiously trying to pick out a new book or discussing new titles with fellow shop-goers. I think an actual library/book shop would be wonderful!

Since my usage of it is occasional I would be prepared to share it. Perhaps we can have some actual IC arrangement were Braiden owns the librairy and is charitable enough to have the bottom floor open to the public from time to time (having a free librairan isnt a disadvantage either). The top floor would in that case be restricted and contain more rare and private tomes.
