Lordaeron alliance civil war!

Thanks guys for running it. My first RP in lordaeron and my first RP with Sin Belore (say no more XD)

I heard some people were displeased of the forsaken/elven attack on the keep.
To those who wonder, we (Sin Belore) were ICly invited to aid the Cult of Shadow to get rid of humans on their lands. After killing the lot of you, we received a whisper that we were supposedly griefing an RP event... I'm terribly sorry if it appeared like that to some people, but it was purely In Character from our part and no one got corpsecamped.

well... running into an event in pvp gear to slaughter rpers who are either in RP gear or of a low level... I think thats called Ganking. But the event got moved and to be fair SB did withdraw. It is a shame to see RPers do it too other RPers really but if you where misled then fair enough. I await the cult of shadows reply then.

Nonotrly there's a pvp tag on this server for reason, unless they were camping your corpses they did nothing wrong.

I haven't been online due midsummer, so I don't know, when this event took place and the details of what happened.
Nevertheless, Lordaeron, especially Silverpine and Tirisfal, is crawling with undead. Not the nice types that dwell in Acherus brooding and fighting the common evil, but the bloodthirsty, mad ones that wish to kill all living. Especially tasty Alliance.
So is it a wonder you're attacked, if you venture there?

I'm sorry, if the cultists used PvP gear compared, if you had RP pieces. I'll remind them about common courtesy. Likewise to possible CCing, that's inexcusable. But at the same, I hope you respect the borders put down by the game - if you decide to RP near the Forsaken capital, atleast expect that our scouts probably notice such presence and bomb the area. Or if you have a particular reason not to be distracted (ie. a small infiltration force making assault plans etc.), arrange it with us beforehand, so we'll know we "haven't noticed you yet" and won't interfere.

This is the best reply we can offer, unless someone who was there wishes to expand. Hope you had fun, thanks for the RP.

P.S. Also a PSA from our old gm: We serve a singular 'Shadow', the others were long since declared heretical. Thus, it's The Cult of Shadow, not Shadows. He's irked by the misnomer, if you heard the plural from a cultist, they shall be purged.

Hello there, I also talked with your leader- I beleive it was the scarlet guild leader actually, so the other guild's leader- and we sorted it out and planned how to create next events. The truth is, some Forsaken saw you, and reported to me via whisper. I logged in, called the Sin Belore allies, roleplayed it out a bit in Brill, then Sepulcher, and moved in- roleplaying it all along.

I assumed the yelling, and the fact we waited for a few moments before charging will allow those of you that were not in PvP gear yet to change, I was wrong about that and for that I am sorry. If I knew it wouldn't be so I would've naturally called for RP gear. After that, we reorganized outside to allow you to ress, regroup, so on, and kept on yelling from the outside. After a few minutes we realized most of you used their hearthstone and went away, which is a shame but understandable.

I hope this explains this all situation! Hopefully will see you in future RP-pvp.

This I am indeed! There is only ONE SHADOW!

Some of us are still rather in the dark as to how the alliance can even be present, let alone have a civil war... miles behind and deep in forsaken territory, in a keep they never fought for or battled the forsaken for possesion of.

...Some mysteries are just never solved i suppose.

Meh cant vouch for that, it wasnot my event anyway but from what i understand it was some political thing between the survivors of the Lordaeron, the rebels retreated north, picked up some recruits in the north but where crushed by the loyalists and some SW allys. I think the castle that they used was meant to be "generic northern castle" and was hoped that being where we where would keep the gankers away.

I am not sure of corrective training however, as i have shared what i know could you do the same?

Seems like seperate things then, and in that context i see no harm in using the place.

in regards to past problems... we had the scarlet guild set up camp there out of the blue without telling us. Following that they began attacking forsaken towns around it, and organising a campaign with other guilds to invade Lordaeron proper...

...all the while refusing to fight the cult of shadow for it, and corpse camping our members. so in the end i snapped, and make it my personal mission to chase them out of it when i can, using very aggressive tactics. which is where i assume the griefing came over from. so no beef with you old bean, but woe unto anyone who assumes they can just waltz in and use the place. it could be likened to say... me organisising an invasion of elwynn from stonewatch and refusing to talk to any human guilds.

all the same, looked fun, good to see people making events.

I cant disagree as such, no knowledge of the campaign you mentioned. I hope that was not occuring from RPers, i understand this is a PvP server but rp guilds ruining other RP events is sad. In future it might be best to just log a char on the other side of the coin and /w to find out what exactly is occuring. What i would do anyhow.

I'm going to be a major hypocrit here and support CoS/SB, the reason it's hypocritical is I have in the past had a sciff with SGE about this sort of thing. But it was now so long ago I no longer remember the circumstances nor hold it against them. So feel free to denounce what I'm about to say as biased hypocrisy! *raaaargh*

Lordaeron Alliance are in a long time OOC hissy fit regarding Fenris Isle. As I understand, and as was demonstrated to me in an excellent PvP event once Fenris Isle is absolutely, firmly, and irrecoverably within Forsaken hands.

LA disagree, as is their right, however...They lose the right to complain about unnanounced PvP bashing when they insist on returning there over and over again whilst strutting about SW proclaiming their dominian over an Island they lost months ago.

In short. Just agree to have a one off fight for the Island with CoS, all or nothing (until the next arranged fight. ) and stop acting surprised when you walk in on THEIR RP and they don't leave you to get on with it.

Dear God, PvP on an RP-PvP server in a non-contested, but actually enemy-held territory with no bloody communication with said enemy beforehand so that they wouldn't trespass on an event on their own lands? And THEN there's butthurt?

Lordearon Alliance, how I missed you. Rest of you, good job about the event, it seemed to be fun. Just uh..Try and understand that claiming anything in Lordearon without kicking out the locals might be a bad idea.
