The judge gave the death penalty but an abbot spoke and got the sentence dropped to whipping, banding and exocism/rehab. Led to a bit of a ic argument.

Then as he was being whipped the crowd just went for it. The regiment and a few others stood on the side of the magistrate, the rest tried to linch him.
